Journeys around the globeWe later returned to Antigua—such a lovely town with cobbled stone streets and old historic buildings. After a walking tour of the city, we drove toward the Pacific to climb Pacaya volcano. It was a four kilometer steep climb to reach the lava flow. We arrived around dusk and our entire group was mesmerized by the crackling flow. It was indeed a surreal experience as we were confronted with the beauty, strength, and reality of creation. Some in our party had brought marshmallows to roast on the lava heat and were eager to share their feast. We climbed down the volcano using flashlights feeling a unique bond with our group for we had witnessed a very special aspect of our planet.

Our travel was flawless! The rider pickup (airport, hotel, ship) was seamless. Jane's recommendation for Emerald Cruise Sakara was everything I wanted but the experience was soooo much more. Adventure Life took care of each and every detail and this was the easiest of all my travels.

I spoke with at least a half dozen other travel companies, looking for a Galapagos cruise that fit our schedule and budget. Some companies could manage one or the other, but Erin was the only one who could do both. She found us the perfect cruise, at a fantastic price!
