Cruise along the charming and historic Danube, one of Europe's largest river, in this 8-day round trip cruise from Budapest. Day 1 Budapest | Embark

Board the MS Vivalid in Budapest. Settle in your cabin and attend to the crew Introduction over a welcome cocktail as you cruise to Mohacs. Enjoy a delightful dinner and evening on board. Sail to Mohacs during the night.

Day 2 Mohacs | Osijek

Arrive in Mohacs early in the morning, pass through customs and cruise to Osijek. Enjoy a morning of entertainment on board before you arrive in Osijek. Set off for a guided visit of Osijek, a modern town of central Europe with old traditions. Return on board and cruise toward Belgrade. Spend the night enjoying on board activities and entertainment.

Day 3 Belgrade

This morning set off on an excursion to visit the town of Belgrade. Located at the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers, the town has created its own cultural identity based on a mix of Austro-Hungarian, Ottoman and Slavic cultures. Enjoy a free afternoon in the Serbian capital or join and optional coach transfer (book and pay on board) to and from the town center from your mooring point. Get back on the ship for an evening of Serbian folk. Cruise to Orsova during the night. 

Day 4 Orsova (Romania) | The Iron Gates

Today arrive in Orsova and join an excursion to “the Spa Town of Hercules and Orsova”, one of the oldest thermal spas in Europe built by the Romans in the 2nd century B.C. Return on board and cruise to the Iron gates gorges between the Carpathians and the Balkans, a fantastic place. Tonight enjoy a gala evening on board and spend the night sailing toward Novi Sad.  

Day 5 Novi Sad (Serbia) | Ilok | Vukovar

Early in the morning, arrive in Novi Sad. Set off on an excursion to the Orthodox monastery at Krusedol, built in the 16th century and decorated with some wonderfully elaborate paintings. Then visit Sremski Karlovci, a peaceful little town of some 9,000 inhabitants on the banks of the Danube, and Novi Sad, the capital of the autonomous region of Vojvodina. Return on board and cruise to Ilok. Join an excursion to the medieval cities of Ilok and Vukovar. Return on board in Vukovar. Cruise to Mohacs and enjoy an evening of entertainment on board. Cruise during the night.

Day 6 Mohacs | Kalocsa

This morning arrive in Mohacs, passing through customs. Join an excursion to Pécs, a town situated at the foot of the Mecsek Mountains and over 2,000 years old, with a Mediterranean climate and ambiance. Return on board and cruise to Kalocsa. Once you have arrived set off on an excursion into the Puszta. This enormous flat prairie, also known as the “great Hungarian plain”, was the Hungarian Wild West during the 19th century. Return on board and cruise to Budapest during the night.

Day 7 Budapest

Today join a discovery tour of the wonderful Budapest. With its different architecture style, Budapest is one of the special pearl of central Europe. Set off on an excursion of Gödöllö Palace, the largest Baroque castle in Hungary, set in a park of some 28 hectares (69 acres). In the evening, enjoy a tour of Budapest by night. 

Day 8 Budapest | Disembark

Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking during the morning.
