Day 1: Singapore | Embark

Embark the Coral Discoverer at 4pm and depart the Singapore harbor in the late afternoon. Enjoy the Captain's welcome drinks and sail to Pulau Penuba along the Singapore skyline vista.

Day 2: Pulau Penuba

Discover Pulau Penuba´s village life and interact with locals in a traditional martial arts display. Visit Opium House and return to the Coral Discoverer for an onboard dinner.

Day 3: Pulau Belitung

Enjoy a welcome ceremony at Rainbow Beach,Tanjung Tinggi. Rock-hop 'painted beachboulders and explore undeveloped Pulau Belitung´s beachfront.

Day 4: Way Kambas National Park

Visit one of the oldest reserves in Indonesia, the Way Kambas National Park. Endeavor to spot endangered Sumatran elephants in the wild with a Park Ranger on a river cruise.

Day 5: Anak Krakatua

This morning cruise the Sunda Strait that separates Sumatra and Java. Travel ashore to view (and hike!) Anak Krakatua, a young volcano by geological standards.

Day 6: Thousand Islands

Discover the 'Thousand Islands', home to a multitude of fish and sea life. Enjoy adventure options such as snorkeling, diving or swimming in the islands´ rich waters.

Day 7: At Sea

Cruise the Java coast and enjoy on-board facilities and information sessions prepared by your Expedition Team as you plan for the days ahead.

Day 8: Karimunjawa National Park

Uncover Karimunjawa Archipelago's pristine beaches and coral reefs, where you can join numerous water activities and hike in the low hills passing through lush forests.

Day 9: Surabaya

Explore Old Surabaya and her colonial past. Stroll the alleys of Kampung Arab, the largest Arab District in Indonesia, and experience the melting pot of Pabean Market. Visit Chinatown and embrace the hustle and bustle. Later, watch for Potehi Puppets at Surabaya´s temple.

Day 10: Lombok

Land on the north shore of Lombok and join a local transport to the foothills of Mt Rinjani, Lombok's highest peak. Walk through the jungle to the spectacular Sendang Gile Waterfall while looking for monkeys and colorful birdlife. Set sail towards Sumbawa Island.

Day 11: Pulau Moyo National Park

Enjoy water activities in and over beautiful untouched coral reefs. Swim and snorkel with white-tip reef sharks and dive next to blue-spotted stingrays. Walk through the rainforest identifying many exotic species from loggerhead turtles to deer. In the afternoon, visit a traditional village with remains of an extinct megalithic culture.

Day 12: Komodo Island

Uncover UNESCO World Heritage Komodo National Park and join local rangers on a guided walk to view Komodo dragons, the world's largest lizard. Relax on Pink Beach and enjoy water activities including swimming and snorkeling. Visit the Atlas Pearl Farm and see pearl propagation techniques. Experience the Indonesian cuisine by tasting an oyster sashimi. 

Day 13: Sumba

Visit a traditional Sumbanese village with a unique 'peaked' roof architecture. Learn about marapu (religious) traditions and see the megalithic burial sites. Observe the famed Ikat weavers in action and return to the Coral Discoverer for an on-board dinner.

Day 14: Kelimutu National Park

Land on Flores and take a scenic drive to 1,639-meter Kelimutu volcano where local guides lead you up its slopes, with regular stops to admire the view of the tri-colored lakes. On this day photography opportunities abound.

Day 15: Pulau Alor

Enjoy some of Nusa Tenggara's best snorkelling and diving over world class coral sea gardens. Learn about indigenous tribal groups renowned for their Moko drum culture and visit a traditional village built halfway up the mountainside.

Day 16: At Sea | Expedition Island Stop

Travel ashore at Pulau Kisar, your final Indonesian port of call. Be welcomed by traditional dancers and set sail towards Darwin in the afternoon.

Day 17: At Sea

Enjoy a day of relaxation on board as you cruise across the Timor Sea. Reminisce about adventures enjoyed with the Expedition Team and new friends and join the Captain and crew for Captain's farewell drinks.

Welcome to Australia!  Your expedition concludes on arrival in Darwin at 8am.
