Arrive in Venice and board the MS Michelangelo after 6:00 p.m. After settling in to your cabin, attend a welcome cocktail party in the lounge and familiarize yourself with the ship and her crew. After dinner, leave the ship to discover Venice and all its sights. The Michelangelo will remain in port overnight.
Begin your day with breakfast on board and spend the morning cruising to Chioggia. Eat lunch on board before joining an optional afternoon tour by coach of Padua. Known as the town of St Anthony, Padua is a pilgrimage town, full of artistic treasures. Visit the 'Santo' basilica, dedicated to St. Anthony, and stroll through the historic town center. The ship will cruise to Taglio di Po, where you can reboard at 7:00 p.m.
After breakfast, set off by coach to visit Ferrara. Awarded World Heritage status by UNESCO, this town was home to the Este Court. Return to the ship for lunch before setting off on a coach excursion to Verona, the beautiful and romantic setting for Romeo and Juliet. Return to our boat in Polesella and sail to Taglio di Po. Arrive in the evening and end the day with a gala dinner on board.
In the morning, transfer from the ship to Chioggia, stopping in Adria to discover and explore the town. Continue your trip towards Chioggia, a port city which originated in Roman times and is the second largest city of the Serene Republic. Stroll around the area and discover the town at your own pace. During this time, the Michelangelo will cruise to Chioggia where we will join it for lunch on board. Cruise back to Venice, and arrive around 2:30 p.m. Take an optional guided tour of the Doge's Palace and the famous Piazza San Marco before returning to the ship for dinner.
In the morning, take an optional trip to the lagoon islands of Burano and Murano. Murano is famous for its glass work and its St. Maria and St. Donato churches, the oldest in the lagoon. Burano, a fishing island, is famous for its traditional lacework. Explore Venice at your own pace in the afternoon before returning to the ship for dinner.
Day 6 Venice
After breakfast, disembark in Venice and transfer to the airport for your onward flights.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
