Quito, a trip to Sacha Lodge in the Amazon, and a 5-day Galapagos Island cruise. I was amazed at the incredible variety in environment and landscape I found in such a tiny country. And the wildlife did NOT disappoint!
We travelled as far south as Antarctica, where complete solitude was discovered."El Mitad del Mundo" was the most northernly stop. Hiked the "W" circuit of Torres del Paine and the Inca Trail. Awed by Punta del Diablo, Salar de Uyu
In summary, this was a month well spent. We cannot praise highly enough Adventure life for their assistance in putting all this together.
A group of students from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY were lucky enough to have the opportunity to travel to Ecuador and to the Galapagos Islands. This is just one student's journal from the adventure..
This journal details my experience on Adventure Life's "Ecuador Adventurer" trip in July of 2006. A great time was had by all exploring Quito, coasting down mountain roads by bike, hiking the cloud forest, whitewater rafting, and trekking the

A fab adventure trip and experience with a great group and guide. Action packed and lived up to the description with activities. Each day was filled and we went to bed at night ready for sleep and to restore some older muscles. Memorable and great fun.
