I arrived in Santiago, Chile early in the morning on 6 Feb and had the day to walk around the city. I was very impressed at how clean and metropolitan the city was and how beautiful the women are. On 7 Feb I was off to Easter Island.
Tanner picked a trip to Ecuador and even though his older brother and dad did not want to go we had an amazing experience that no one will ever forget and we had it together!
Cuenca is a beautiful city and was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. With tranquil rivers, beautiful architecture, and surrounded by mountains in a cool and comfortable climate, we instantly adored this place.
I woke at 4 am for our early flight to Lima via Salt Lake and Atlanta. We didn't know it yet, but this would be the start of many pre-dawn departures so it was good to get prepared from the start.
