Day 1- On the verge of Ecuador

As with any great adventure.... I've filled my mind with endless possiblities and a multitude of scenarios for this solo trip. I've departed my interim home of Denver, Colorado to partake in a tall drink of South American culture... shaken not stirred :) This should be a refreshing absence from my current residence in Afghanistan, however my propensity for cultural submersion is still thriving nontheless. South America is a antique gem in this modern world.... so much history, rich with pride and tradition.... a true marvel of human dynamics.
