Dating back to the late 1800's, Casa Vieja is a hotel that offers all the conveniences a traveler could want while still preserving its historical charm. The house, which has been in the family for four generations, and also has been a residence for the monks of San Jose Obreo.
Relax in the lovely hotel which offers guests the chance to observe first hand the architecture that was made famous during this time period, from its graceful arches, to the beautiful courtyard, to even the walls which measure one meter thick.
The idea to convert the house into a hotel and open the doors for guests was born from the desire to share the natural delight and simple beauty of the architecture of this old house. The remodeling of Casa Vieja has preserved the architectural and constructive scheme of her origins and offers guests warm hospitality.
Rooms harmoniously combine the traditional architecture and the demand of serviceability. Every room is one of a kind where the flowers, handcrafts, colors and fireplaces all work together to create a very special ambience. Enjoy the upgrades from the remodeling such as free Wi-Fi and other such amenities.
Dine in an intimate atmosphere reserved only for guests of the Casa Vieja. The cozy restaurant serves guests the unique tastes of the region. Or, should guests chose, room service is available to enjoy the various specialties for breakfast or dinner in the comfort of your room.
I could not be happier with my Adventure Life experience, from beginning to end. I travel a lot, and I think your company and personnel do an outstanding job. I truly appreciate your professionalism, attentiveness, and flexibility. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend your company and would be happy to serve as a reference.

The trip was not only memorable for the amount of animals we saw but also for the people and accommodations at the two camps where we stayed. Our first guide, BK, was a wealth of information about the animals, landscape and down to the plants and what they were used for. Everyday out was a learning experience with him. All the people at the camps were gracious and the food was excellent.
Our second camp in the Okavanga was just as good as the first as far as the staff, accommodations, food and animals. After our experience at the first camp we amazed that the high quality remained the same. Our guide, G, made sure we were able to enjoy every experience including a rush through the bush to witness a cheetah and an ensuing hunt that he heard over his radio.
In both camps there were enough guides out that if they saw something the other guides were informed which helped in seeing as much as possible. It was also nice that the concessions were large enough that we did not have vehicles following each other throughout the day.
Normally there is always something in a trip of this length that we think could be improved upon but this is the rare case where we cannot think of anything. From the time we left the States to when we returned it was one of the most hassle free vacations we took.
Perhaps emphasizing the use of the laundry facilities at the camps would be useful because of the luggage restrictions would be the only thing I can think of as an improvement to future clients.
