Hotel Edelweiss

The Hotel
The hotel is identified with a particular blend of contemporary and traditional style in decoration, featuring wood, stone and earth colors
A large lobby with a fireplace, reading corners, small living rooms and spacious rooms welcome guests and join them during their whole stay. Fresh flowers create a natural and delicate atmosphere all year round, both in rooms and public areas.
Rooms
Classic: In June 2008 Edelweiss completed the renovation of its 42 classic rooms. These rooms are at the back of the hotel and feature between 20 and 25 sq. meters.
The refurbishing blends modernity and coziness while keeping the original spirit of the hotel by using ?lenga? wood, a unique species in Patagonia that allows for sustainable use.
Superior Rooms: The renovation of superior rooms starts in September and will be estimated to end in June 2009. These rooms are located at the front of the hotel and feature between 25 and 30 sq. meters
The foreseen changes are in keeping with the style of classic rooms, thus having the same distribution. The traditional family plan rooms will still be available featuring two double beds.
One highlight in superior rooms is that we can offer rooms with a view to the lake, these will be confirmed upon request.
Suites: Suites are very comfortable and large rooms on the fourth and fifth floors with a magnificent view to the lake. There is a living room, independent bedroom, king size bed, whirlpool tub, special amenities.
These rooms can be occupied by two or three guests.
Pool and Gymnasium
Submerge yourself in Edelweiss\'s heated pool while enjoying views of the lake surrounded by the magnificent snow-covered Andes. Come to the 7th floor to relax and renew!
Exercise in the newly refurbished gymnasium. The hotel?s gym is equipped with the latest aerobic workout machines:

Spa
The Spa is the perfect place to rest, relax and be pampered during your stay at the Hotel Edelweiss. Located on the 5th floor. Open from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Come nurture your body and spirit with our various spa offerings:
? Unisex hair salon: All services including style, cut and color. Revitalizing facial and Manicure or pedicure.
? Sauna: Including essential herbs that will relax and detoxify your body.
? Scottish Bath: A water massage which stimulates circulation in the body.
? Massage: Therapeutic massage using a variety of techniques including Shiatsu, Reflexology and Aromatherapy.

La Tavola Restaurant:
The restaurant, La Tavola, offers a warm and relaxed environment that invites you to enjoy fine food and excellent wine.
Focusing on all things natural, the authentic Argentinean menu has been designed to highlight both local and national specialties. Choose from a diverse selection of salads and appetizers as well as a variety of fresh pasta and the finest Argentinean beef. To complement your meal, select a bottle of wine from an extensive wine list featuring the finest wineries in the country.
El Patio Bar:
The Patio Bar, located in the lobby of the hotel, is an ideal place to meet up with friends and colleagues. Relax and enjoy Argentinean hospitality, Patagonia-style. The revised menu available throughout the day offers delicious cold and hot sandwiches, salads, pastas, and other light dishes for lunch. At night, the bar offers a perfect atmosphere for cocktails, as well as tapas and finger foods, while listening to fine music.
Wine Bar
With the boom of the Argentine wine industry, The Hotel Edelweiss created its own Wine Bar located in El Patio with a comprehensive list of wine served by the glass.
The offerings are exclusively from the winegrowers of Argentina whose world-renowned wines benefit from the perfect combination of soil and climate of Argentina.
Happy Hour is from 7 pm to 9 pm daily.
