O\'tai Hotel was founded in 1968 by Nicol?s Haoa and Rosita Cardinali, at those times under the name \"Residencial Rosita\" with only 4 rooms. In 1986 it was enlarged and renamed as O\'tai Hotel, which nowadays has 41 rooms with capacity for 80 people and distinguishes by it\'s cozy and homey atmosphere - the perfect place to relax on your Easter Island tour. With the years passing the hotel has specialized in giving personal attention to its guests, who take with them a pleasant memory of Rapa Nui and their stay.
O\'tai means \"In the Coast\" in the Rapanui language.
As it\'s name indicates, the hotel is just footsteps away from the coast line and in the center of Hanga Roa village, near all the most important services.
