La Casa de Bodega
La Casa de la Bodega is owned and operated by Mr. Mario Ernesto Pe?a, a Salte?an businessman, and his wife Noem?.
The hotel was built and designed with the idea to create something new and unique within in the Calchaqu? Valley. The owners wanted to invite guests to enjoy the beautiful surrounding environment while at the same time sharing the technology of the vineyards and winery.
Today, years after acquiring the original piece of land where the hotel was built, the family is proud to receive visitors and tourists from all over the world.
The hotel has been successful in creating a pleasant environment as well as a successful winery.
The winery has a capacity to produce 60.000 liters per year. The winery is equipped with the latest technology, including stainless steel temperature-controlled tanks and an excellent bottling plant which allows us to keep a close eye on the daily produce and is final quality.
Once the process of vinification is done, the red wines are taken to the cellar to rest in French and American oak barrels with perfect conditions of temperature and humidity.
There are 8 exclusive rooms, five of them with view to the vineyards and the rest to the gardens and pool.
