Quincho Country Home is an exclusive Country Home under the management of a dedicated Chilean/German team. Surrounded by a four hectare garden of lawns and woodland, Quincho Country Home is a unique hotel with impressive views of the volcanoes Osorno and Calbuco, as well as Lake Llanquihue.
The natural wood structure of the hotel building offers a combination of traditional and modern lines, playing an important role in the overall decoration and ambiance of the lodge. Personalized service is the strength of the Quincho team and with a maximum of eight guests, each will enjoy personal attention and attention to every detail.
Modern meets tradition with conveniences such as wireless internet, computer access, as well as a welcome cocktail and coffee and tea service available at all times.
With a maximum of eight guests, each room is meticulously maintained with the utmost attention to detail. The use of natural textures and colors in the overall decoration scheme invites guests to feel comfortable and relaxed immediately upon entering the guest rooms. All suites are equipped with LCD or LED TV's, and Ipod station, direct dial telephone, hairdryer, comfortable bathrobes, bathroom toilitries and safety box. Fruits and sparkling water are always in the room.
Each suite features a living area with a big open fire and panoramic windwos towards the lake. The perfect place for a relaxed conversation over a glass of good Chilean wine, or simply enjoy the beauty and peace of the place from the privacy and comfort of your own guest suite.
Food and Wine
The onsite chef creates a Chilean gourmet menu every day, using seasonal fresh vegetables, fish, seafood and meat, always with guests' preferences in mind. There are always two exquistie alternatives to chose from. Guests will special dietary requirements are welcome to relax and enjoy the outstanding cuisine.
Home made pastries, breads and marmalades, free-range eggs and fresh juices are part of a Quincho breakfast. Most of the ingredients are sourced locally. For example, Dona Juanita produces different kinds of lettuce in the beautiful farm house garden. Nearby Chiloe Island is well known for its different varieties of potato and aromatic garlic. Visits the local markets in guest activities often purchase fresh vegetables for the chef. Meat is of first class quality in Chile and seafood and fish are the local specialty. All of these natural ingredients almost guarantee delicious food in themselves, but combined with the special love for detail from the chef adds a special touch. At Quinch Country Home only Chilean wines are served.
