Sapibenega The Kuna Lodge is a small resort located on a private island in one of the 365 wonderful islands that form up the archipelago of Kuna Yala, which is known worldwide as the San Blas region. Sapibenega in Kuna language means \"Nature\". It is the essence and beginning of life.

Location
The islands of Kuna Yala are all along about 250 miles from the Panamanian coast of the Caribbean sea, and are specially inhabited by the Kuna Indians who live simple and real lives. Kuna Yala is known worldwide as the Land of Molas. Molas are part of the clothes worn by Kuna women, they are handmade in different colors, from two up to three cloth layers with different designs such as traditional geometric shapes, animals and flowers, etc. Mola is one of the most beautiful Indian clothes around the world, and you can find it here at Sapibenega!

Sapibenga Lodge
Sapibenega is a secluded and tranquil spot, located on a private island in the beautiful Caribbean. Cabins are built over the water and are equipped with private bathrooms with composting toilettes, solar panels, and balconies with hammocks to enjoy the spectacular landscapes. Sapibenega\'s lodge has the best equipped and comfortable restaurant bar in Kuna Yala. Dine on fresh local cuisine on the large outdoors terraces.

Rates include: Breakfast, lunch and dinner, 2 tours per day (tours dictated by hotel, dependent on weather and seasons), and boat transportation to/from Playon Chico airstrip.

Cabins
Cabins are built over the sea which let the crystal clear waters of Kuna Yala lullaby you to sleep. These cabins are comfortable and ample and are equipped with fan and comfortable furniture, in addition of a balcony where you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets of Kuna Yala.

Cabins are equipped with private bathrooms, wooden floor, composting toilets, hot water, 24 hours solar powered electricity, Satellite Phone, ceiling fan, balcony with hammocks, and queens/doubles beds.

Dining
Two dining options, a bar & restaurant (Dibanan Kalu and Akuabiski), and a large outdoors terrace where you can enjoy a romantic dinner in a magic environment while tasting meals cooked with fresh seafood, fruits and vegetables.

Enjoy a romantic dinner, in front of the sea lit by candles, under a sky full of stars.

Activities
Tours are offered to the surrounding uninhabited islands to enjoy the sun, white sand beaches and to swim over the beautiful coral reefs while you admire the sea beauty.

Moreover, there are some optional eco?tours for those who love nature, where adventure awaits for them in the rain forest, waterfall, trees and plants whose use will be explained about by a Kuna healer.

Cultural excursions take you to the nearby Kuna communities to know about their culture and history, like:
* A tour to the Kuna village of Playon Chico to know our way of living, organization system and handcrafting.
* Excursion to Uan (the Kuna Burial Ground) to experience part of Kuna rites and their custom.
* Trek along the mainland to Kolebir a traditional Kuna village.
* Presentation of the kuna\'s traditional dances (minimum 8 people)
