In the main resort building, the hub of social gatherings and meals, includes eight guest rooms. There are four Resort Reef Rooms situated at each corner of the lodge offering larger accommodations, with two-sided views of the ocean and/or gardens. There are also four Lodge Rooms situated in the middle of the lodge with one-sided views of either ocean or garden. All rooms in the lodge have private bathrooms, ideally situated to keep the rooms quiet. Also included are hair dryers, air conditioning and fans.

The flats off St. George's Caye are known as one of the premier fly fishing destinations in the Caribbean, home to schools of sought-after bonefish, tarpon and permit. Bonefish are prevalent throughout the year. Tarpon are a challenging catch that can grow as large as 200 pounds in the summer months. Permit can be found year-round, though their numbers are more predominant February through May. They are typically at their largest in the fall months. Other species to look out for include barracuda, jack crevalle and snook.
The Belizean Barrier Reef is teeming with prize catches including hogfish, snapper, cobia, mackerel and grouper (including the larger than life goliath grouper.) Experienced guides offer bait fishing in the deeper waters or trolling in the shallow reef protected areas. Tarpon, permit, snook, amberjack, jack crevalle and barracuda are also found on the reef.

All of your equipment will be checked, assembled and loaded on to the boat for you. Even your mask will be cleaned in advance. Once back onshore, the crew will wash and disassemble all your equipment so that it is organized and ready to go for your next dive.
There’s no need to worry about cattle boat diving at St. George’s Caye Resort. Each boat is limited to no more than 14 divers, and the resort’s secluded location means that nearby dive sites are free of crowds from other resorts. The small group size equals personal attention and a comfortable and safe atmosphere for every diver.
If you are a novice or just want to brush up on your skills, the dive team will conduct a full review in shallow ocean water beforehand to make sure you are comfortable and confident before descending. If you want to get certified, a variety of courses can also be completed at the resort.
