The Guest House is located a few blocks from the shores of Llanquihue Lake in Puerto Varas - the gateway to Parque Nacional Vicente Perez Rosales - and is within easy walking distance of the city's many shops and restaurants. You can't ask for a better place to begin your Chile tour!

The Guest House, originally known as the Wetzel House, was constructed in 1926. It has since been renovated with many modern comforts, while remaining as close as possible to its original state. Today it is run along the lines of an American bed-and-breakfast, offering visitors the personalized attention of its owner, Vicki Johnson.

Each of the Guest House's ten rooms have comfortable beds, private bathrooms with hot showers and bathtubs, central heating, and room service. There is a spacious living/dining area - a great place to socialize with other guests. At the rear of the house is a garden for relaxing. Breakfast is served each morning with freshly-ground coffee, seasonal fruit, queques, pancakes, granola, kuchen, and homemade jams and honey.

The Guest House also offers airport transportation, cooking and yoga classes, 24-hour Internet access, laundry service, massage therapy, a meeting room, and private parking. The friendly staff speaks both Spanish and English.
