Day 1: Naples, Italy | Embark

Naples rises from the sea around a huge bay and extends up into the hills like an amphitheater. From the Castello Sant' Elmo on the Vomero you can enjoy a fantastic view over the sea of houses, the port, and the Gulf. The pretty center of this chaotic Campanian city is the old town, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its huge fortresses, dignified churches and monasteries, splendid squares and palaces, and maze of winding streets.

Day 2: Sorrento, Italy

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
The picturesque little town of Sorrento is delightfully situated high above white cliffs and offers a fantastic view over the Gulf of Naples. Visitors have been succumbing to Sorrento's magic for 2,000 years, which is at its best when there's a picturesque sunset. Everyone has heard about the tragic end that came to the prosperous Roman trading center of Pompeii, situated at the foot of Mount Vesuvius. In 79 AD it was buried under ash and lava and remained hidden for centuries. Nowadays it is the greatest excavation site in Italy and gives you a glimpse into daily life in Roman times.

Day 3: At Sea

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Enjoy the onboard amenities and facilities.

Day 4: Bastia | Corsica

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Explore Bastia,  a city on the French island of Corsica. In the Old Port, Bars and restaurants are plenty for the tourists.  Visit the twin-towered Church of St. Jean-Baptiste. Terra Nova, a centuries-old citadel with ramparts, was built by Genoese rulers. Nearby is the Cathedral of Ste. Marie, filled with paintings and marble statues. The Governor’s Palace houses the Bastia Museum, showcasing the city’s history.

Day 5: Calvi | Corsica

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Explore the town of Calvi on the northwest coast of Corsica. Known for its beaches and crescent-shaped bay. A medieval citadel overlooks the marina from the bay's western end and is home to Baroque St-Jean-Baptiste Cathedral and cobbled streets. Restaurants line the harbor on the Quai Landry esplanade. Perched on a high hill a short distance inland, the chapel of Notre Dame de la Serra has panoramic views of the area

Day 6: Saint-Tropez | France

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Saint-Tropez is a coastal town on the French Riviera, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of southeastern France. Long popular with artists, the town attracted the international "jet-set" in the 1960s and remains known for its beaches and nightlife. The cobblestoned La Ponche quarter recalls its past as a fishing village, although yachts now outnumber fishing boats in the Vieux Port (Old Port)

Beyond expectations! Then again we weren't sure what to expect. Lovely stay at the lodge, met other like-minded travelers (many had their trips planned by Adventure Life) and the owner was a gracious hostess. It felt like you were one happy family, visiting with a favorite aunt.
