Day 1 Embark in Oslo, Norway

Arrive in Oslo. Board the Le Soleal between 5 and 6 PM. Settle into your cabin and familiarize yourself with the ship and her staff.

Day 3 Kristiansand, Norway

Kristiansand features the largest open-air museum in Norway, Vest Agder Cultural Heritage Museum, with 30 re-erected houses. Visit Posebyen, the historical region, and the cathedral Kristiansand Domkirke. View the charming wooden houses, small‑boat harbor, and Christiansholm fortress. Enter for a look at the canons and enjoy the spectacular view over the marina and the ocean. 

Day 4 Stavanger

Visit Stavanger, a cosmopolitan and prosperous small town with a perfectly balanced blend of old and new. During your stopover, walk the paved streets and admire the wonderfully preserved fishermen's houses that date from the 18th century. This particular area is today considered to be unique and the city's most important rehabilitation project. Other notable sites include the the old Canning Museum, which recaptures the industry that was perhaps even more important to the town in former days than the oil industry is today, the market square at the head of the harbor bay, the best preserved of Norway’s medieval churches built around 1125, and the Valberg tower, built in 1850-53 and used as a fire watchtower.

 

Day 5 Alesund - Sailing the Fjords

Keep your camera close at hand as you sail amongst the majestic Norwegian fjords. Alesund's Sunnmøre Open-Air Museum consists of various types of farmhouses, boathouses, and old boats that have been moved to this site from all over the region.

Day 6 Geiranger

Geiranger is a small Norwegian town located in the Sunnmøre region. In 2005, the Geiranger fjord became a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The town features many historic and natural wonders, including Hornindalsvatnet, one of the deepest lakes in Europe at 1695 ft/ 514m deep. Mount Dalsnibba, at a height of 4930ft/ 1,495m, offers exceptional views. Discover the Bridal Veil and Seven Sisters, two famous waterfalls with mythical names.

Bergen was founded in the year 1070. Up to the 1830’s the city was the largest in Norway and a center for commerce and shipping. For several centuries the Hanseatic Merchants had one of their four major overseas trading offices in Bergen - The German office at Bryggen. Following an early breakfast on board, disembark in Bergen. Transfer to the airport to continue your travels.

Fares are based on double occupancy and are capacity controlled. Rates may increase at any time as the ship sells out and are subject to change without notice.

Discounts are available for children sharing a cabin with two adults and third adult passengers in select cabin categories. Please contact us for details.

Single travelers can opt for a solo cabin - supplements start at 50%.
