This Cusco boutique hotel was built over a house declared part of the Cultural Patrimony of Peru which was originally an Inca temple. Later it became a Spanish House occupied by nobility and regent Don Fernando Cartagena and Santa Cruz, thus this hotel is named after him as Casa Cartagena.

Casa Cartagena has been restored maintaining its original architecture allowing its history to permeate through its present walls.

This boutique hotel has 16 suites surround by beautiful Spanish patios, where time and tradition have blended in a majestic way. It is located a mere two blocks away from the Nazarenas Plaza, considered one of the most elegant neighborhoods surrounded by beautiful andean landscapes.

Oxygen Enrichment System
Don't worry about high altitude sickness, all the suites in Casa Cartagena Boutique Hotel offer a two-way oxygen enrichment system to help your body adapt to the high altitude of Cuzco. Overnight oxygen exposure is ideal for recovery after a long day of walking or hiking.

The oxygen is distributed throughout the suites in two different ways; A dosifier is directed/placed over the bed to facilitate your acclimatization while you are enjoying a good night's sleep. A second oxygen outlet found next to the bed can be used at your convenience; the oxygen mask will supply the necessary oxygen to reach high altitude acclimatization.

Qoya Spa
A modern and sophisticated three level relaxation area distributed over 350 m2 in the historic center of Cusco. La Qoya spa was organically designed to make your stay in Cuzco more pleasant. The first level has an 8-meter hydro massage pool with healing stone trail and a relaxing spectacular view of the Artisans neighborhood of San Blas. La Chola Restaurant
La Chola Cusco restaurant has a legendary history; a picanteria used to operate here under the same name in the mid-nineteen hundreds and was renowned all over the city for being the meeting point of recognized artists, poets, writers, politicians and intellectuals. Among the most famous visitors one must mention Pablo Neruda who was inspired by the majesty of Cusco and enamored of the beauty of the house.
