Our Machu Picchu and Lake Titicaca Adventure: Nothing prepares you for Machu Picchu, not pictures, descriptions, or words. Going to Machu Picchu has been a dream of mine for many years. Although I\'d read about the amazing accomplishments, the actual trip, with a fantastic guide whose name is Marco, brought this journey to life and gave it its due. This is a magnificent country, with vistas that defy imagination.

My philosophy has always been that life is too short to do things you don’t enjoy, and too short to be missing out on doing things you do want to do. That is why I built my business in the way I did – so that it would free me up to do what I want to do. Our Brazil and Peru tours were interesting - but huge. Everytime we went to a new place, it was a full day’s traveling.

Peru Tour Extension: Healthy Breakfast

This is sometimes the first meal of the day for the children and is especially important, as many of them have to walk for over an hour a day to get to school. This is often after they have had to help their parents feed the animals and look after their younger siblings.

Magical Peru, we\'ve always wanted to go, but with work restrictions, we could never fit into a group tour. After comparing every tour available by other tour groups we managed to turn this tour into a private trip with Adventure Life. Let the fun begin!

My Bolivia travels included a handful of days in culture-rich La Paz, followed by a trip to the Salt Desert and shores of Lake Titicaca. The landscape was inspiring, but I was overwhelmed by the inviting people of Bolivia who welcomed me into their country. A great trip; already planning on a return visit -- soon!

Located in northern Peru, the fortress at Kuelap ruins was built by the Chachapoyas tribe. Here you will see only a few visitors per week due to the four hour trek through the Andes to arrive at the ruins. From below, you wouldn\'t know what lies on the top of this ridge because it is completely invisible.
