A journey back to an incredible country...this time featuring condors, flamingos, and pink dolphins!

Road Trip anyone...?! Our 9 day adventure to Ecuador was highlighted by a 5 day, 4 night personalized road trip \"Adventure Life\" designed just for us. Everything we wanted to experience and explore in the timeframe and budget I had available was granted; from highlands and climbing on the earths tallest \"Active\" volcano (Cotopaxi), strolling the beach/swimming in the Pacific near Don Juan, hiking, zip lining and Tarzan Jumping in the cloud forest at Mindo to visiting sacred ceremonial sites of the Yumbo (pre-Inca) civilization at Tulipe. Daniel was our capable, knowledgeable and expert driver /guide; sharing countless interesting facts about the country, culture and history along the way. Not to mention helping con mi espanol! Being able to see so much of the country and experience the way the locals live has created memories to last a life time. You should go! Explore all the lush landscape and historical aspects of Ecuador. Muchas mas to do in Ecuador than we had time for; perhaps I will make it back. When I got on the plane in New York City (Jan 26th) it was 11°F and when I got off the plane in Quito, Ecuador it was 80°F degrees.

Our Galapagos and Ecuador Adventure was one of the most amazing destinations we have been to with the wildlife, culture, and diverse terrain. We did the 9-day multisport tour to San Cristobal, Isabela, and Santa Cruz. Afterwards we did an extension to Bellavista Cloud Forest Lodge on mainland Ecuador. There was never a dull moment of our tour!

In summary: best 6 days of my entire life was in the Galapagos.

We drove from Quito down to Mancora, Chiclayo, Trujillo, Lima, Ica, Nazca, Arequipa, Puno and Cuzco in 17days, Visited lots of wonderful places... a trip to remember for ever!!!

3 Days touring around Quito followed by 7 days of a land-based Galapagos tour with Adventure Life. Naturalist Cezar Salazar was superb. We lived on land on three different islands in comfortable accomodations and freindly neighbors. During the day, we took day trips on land and water, with snorkeling every day. Land based activities including hiking, biking, and exploring nature preserves. A very memorable trip.
