3 Days touring around Quito followed by 7 days of a land-based Galapagos tour with Adventure Life. Naturalist Cezar Salazar was superb. We lived on land on three different islands in comfortable accomodations and freindly neighbors. During the day, we took day trips on land and water, with snorkeling every day. Land based activities including hiking, biking, and exploring nature preserves. A very memorable trip.

Delving into the rich wildlife of the Amazon, we explore the Napo and Aguarico Rivers of Ecuador. Then it on to Sacha Lodge to experience the unique atmosphere at this ecolodge on our Ecuador tour.

We mixed a few days exploring the city of Quito with some hiking in the mountains outside the city, and finished up with a 5-day Galapagos cruise.

Rolfing family trip to the Galapagos: after a whirlwind tour of quito, my family (my parents, brother and my husband) boarded a flight to the land of the unknown... a land we had dreamed about since our last south american family adventure in the early 90\'s. none of us knew what to expect but we were filled with excitement as we realized we were actually, finally, visiting the Galapagos islands.

It was a great Ecuadorian rainforest kayaking adventure trip! And we learned: that a large black garbage bag makes a great raincoat in a pinch.That you keep your toes away from streaming ants.To bring extra clothing in small dry bags so that you can go to dinner in something other than your pajamas. . .That you are ALONE when you are alone in the rainforest. And you thought you were happy on a cruise!

Natalie and I had an amazing adventure! Our guides were down right spectacular, the boat OUTSTANDING (we have nicknamed ourselves \"Camp Galapagos\") and just the whole experience truly fantastic. We made new friends and enjoyed the richness, history and remarkable beauty of both the stunning Galapagos and mainland Ecuador. We are total fans!! I can\'t believe how lucky we got finding adventure life! The best 40th ever...
