The land-based Galapagos Multi-sport trip was perfect for us. We really enjoyed the individual charm of San Cristobal, Santa Cruz, and Isabela. Photos and text originally published at our web site http://www.craigandstephsvacations.com

My tour de Ecuador took me from Guayaquil & the coast to the incredible Galapagos Islands and finally to Quito & the highlands. I was overwhelmed by the natural diversity of this small country, not to mention the warmth of the Ecuadorian people.

Paddling, hiking and biking you are close to so many unusual birds and reptiles. I felt like we were in the Center of the Earth. I thought that it is impossible for birds to have blue feet- but here they are living next to penguins on the equator!
