FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Steve Snyders, Sublime Public Relations Adventure Life Breaks from the Ordinary in PeruMissoula, Montana - Most tours in Peru begin and end with a trip to the sacred city of Machu Picchu. U.S.-headquartered Adventure Life breaks from the ordinary to offer a multi-sport trip that includes a hike along the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu plus biking down the slopes of the Andes towards the Amazon jungle, riding the wild whitewater of the Kosñipata River, hiking through an endangered cloudforest, and getting close and personal with the wildlife of one of the world's greatest rainforest reserves - Manu National Park. Adventure Life offers the 12-day Manco Multisport trip from April to October for $2695. To learn more about Adventure Life and traveling to Peru call 800-344-6118 or www.adventure-life.com. Adventure Life's Manco Multisport adventure begins with a two-day journey out of Cusco by van, mountain bike and on foot, across two Andean mountain ranges and down into the lush Amazon basin. A whitewater rafting trip through the Class III - IV rapids of the Kosñipata River followed by a trip in a dugout canoe leads deeper into the jungle to the Pantiacolla Lodge. A six hour trip in a motorized canoe ends at the magnificent 4.4 million acre Manu National Park where the next two days are spent watching river otters, tapir, white lipped peccaries and the elusive jaguar. A chartered flight back to Cusco begins a day to relax and get ready for the trip to Machu Picchu. The journey to Machu Picchu is split between the train and hiking. The hike includes stops at the ruins of Chachabamba and Winay Wayna and views to Machu Picchu from the Gate of the Sun. The next day is filled with a tour of the ancient ruins of the sacred city of Machu Picchu with a return to Cusco by train. Adventure Life offers additional trips to Machu Picchu such as the Inca Pathways and Machu Picchu Pilgrimage that each include 4 days of trekking along the Inca Trail mixed with extras like a homestay on the floating islands of the Uros people, as well a compact 7-day trip called Machu Picchu by Train. Adventure Life was founded in 1999 with a commitment to provide quality
small group tours that have a positive impact on the local culture and
environment. With more than 40 adventures in South and Central America,
