Explore the Maya Ruins, Mountains and Caves of Belize with Adventure Life

Missoula, Montana. For travelers seeking adventure and diversity Adventure Life’s Belize Explorer Tour has it all. The 9-day tour offers a taste of all the great variety Belize has to offer. Guests will also visit and explore the magnificent Tikal ruins, just over the border in Guatemala with an experienced guide, overnight at the ruins and journey deep into the Belizean jungle to the opening of the sacred Actun Tunichil Muknal - the Cave of the Stone Sepulcher.

Guests may choose from a variety of excursions including trips, which explore the miles of trails surrounding the lodge, or descend under the forest canopy into the Roaring River Valley on horseback to learn about rainforest ecology.

Visitors will end the journey at Ambergris Caye where they will spend two days at a beachside hotel - snorkeling, diving or fishing by day and relaxing to the Caribbean rhythm in the evening. A snorkeling excursion to Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley will round out the journey and introduce guests to the wonderful world of the Belize reef. Here sea turtles, eagle rays, nurse sharks and hundreds of species of fish, coral, and sponges create one of the world’s most diverse underwater ecosystems.
