Antarctica - pure awe for 19 days...

Awe -- "an overwhelming feeling of reverence, admiration, fear, etc., produced by that which is grand, sublime, extremely powerful, or the like." Yep, that sums up my ~3 weeks in and around Antarctica. Always at the top of my must-do list, I decided to stop talking about it and start living it! The following journal recounts my incredible journey. I hope it inspires you to take that leap!

ANTARCTIC ODYSSEY 2011

When my wife and I finally went to Antarctica in November on the Ocean Nova, a ?Quark? ship that carried us and 62 other passengers, it was the highlight of the year, if not a lifetime (well not yet!).

Falkland Islands Tour

Falkland Islands tour come true. It was a truly amazing tour! Actually it was a spiritual adventure in some ways and this was made possible by the warmth and friendship of all the people we met in the Falklands. I can't say enough about this tour to adequately say how much it meant to us. We didn't realize how moving the whole experience was until after we had returned home and gone over the place, people and photos. Thank you Adventure Life for making it all possible.
