Patagonia Sister Trip 2013

To the "end of the world" and back. My sister and I started the trip with a stay over in Buenos Aires before taking a flight to Ushuaia. Together we hiked and kayaked through Tierra del Fuego. We set foot on Cape Horn and an island inhabited only by penguins. Together, we sailed the Straits of Magellan; we learned about the history of Patagonia: the indigenous people, plants, animals, explorers, wars, politics and the people of today. We tasted foods and drank wine and beer of the region. Finally, we trekked the W circuit of Torres del Paine. A promise was made between my sister and I - that we would travel to the end of the world together. That promise was filled with our Patagonia trip. The experience of being in such a beautiful place, together, as we promised so many years ago, was unforgettable. Life is too short to miss out on all the beauty the world has to offer.

Elusive Patagonia

Patagonia. How does one describe an area that is indescribable? It's a land of stark contrasts--jagged snow-capped mountains peaks, pristine lakes, and massive glaciers of mesmerizing beauty, but also a landscape of barren emptiness inhabited only by the incessant Patagonian wind. Chile 2011

Patagonia trek and Atacama Desert extension: How to sum up this trip? Of course it was a chance to see spectacular scenery, meet new people, and experience a different culture. Falkland Islands Tour

I would like to thank all the people at Adventure Life who helped make this Falkland Islands tour come true. It was a truly amazing tour! Actually it was a spiritual adventure in some ways and this was made possible by the warmth and friendship of all the people we met in the Falklands. I can't say enough about this tour to adequately say how much it meant to us. We didn't realize how moving the whole experience was until after we had returned home and gone over the place, people and photos. Thank you Adventure Life for making it all possible.
