Mohammad Chowdhury (Bolivia Backroads, Jul 2007)
Most people would say, when booking this trip, "Bolivia?! Why Bolivia? What's there?!" I would tell them "Bolivia, why not?" - they don't realize they are missing out in seeing such great wonders of the country, everything from the colonial charm of Sucre, to the salt flats, to the rugged landscape of Bolivia and to a vast, visible sky for great star gazing.

George and Heidi Rentz (Bolivia Backroads + Machu Picchu by Train, Apr 2005)
Terrific tour! The guides in Bolivia and Peru were fantastic! They were extremely knowledgeable, helpful and reliable.

Yukiyo Saito (Bolivia Backroads, Aug 2002)
Our trip leader was always with a smile, kind, patient, and helpful. Rene Toro is an excellent guide. I've traveld thru some 40 countries and I think you gave me the best pre-departure support. Thank you!

Cynthia De Leon (Bolivia Backroads, Aug 2002)

Sabine Maarse (Chalalan Lodge + Lake Titicaca, Sep 2007)
Chalalan EcoLodge was absolutely fantastic - rate it an EXCELLENT Hotel. We were completely impressed with the transfers and punctuality of our Adventure Life reps / guides - always ready and waiting for us when they said they would be. The guides at Chalalan lodge were particularly fantastic - very knowledgeable and friendly. The food at Chalalan Lodge - fantastic - lovely home cooked fresh meals - very accommodating with our two vegetarians. We were impressed with Adventure Life's service and flexibility in personalizing and planning our Bolivia trip.

THANK YOU - GRACIAS for providing great travel services and options in South America - we have already recommended you to many of our friends and hope to travel with you again in the future!

Scott Boen and Stephanie Henderson (Chalalan Lodge, Aug 2007)
We were exceptionally pleased with our trip. The local guides were so friendly and enthusiastic. All of the transportation Adventure Life planned, including buses and airplanes, had a perfect record of timeliness. The food was awesome - the tour was everything we expected!

Kathy Rollins (Chalalan Lodge, Jun 2007)
I had another fabulous trip with Adventure Life! Bolivia is great! The Chalalan Lodge experience is just fantastic. Madidi Park is everyone's dream of a rainforest-lush, beautiful, and filled with wildlife. The trip up the Beni River is spectacular.

Everyone at the lodge was super. Ricoberto, our guide, was knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic. The meals were delicious and the service was great. Every time I got back from a hike someone was waiting to greet me with a glass of cold lemonade.

More than that, the atmosphere was very friendly. I met people from all over, and like me they were fascinated by the area and wildlife they encountered along their hikes. Every evening we spent "Happy Hour" looking up animals in the guidebooks the Lodge has available. This was a fabulous tour!

Zen Mottershead (Chalalan Lodge + Lake Titicaca, Sep 2006)
The lodge was more luxurious than expected and the hotels were very nice. Hotel staff was very friendly, with great service. Everything was well organized, on time, and ran smoothly.

Our local guide was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and friendly. He spoke great English and had a wonderful sense of humor. The local crew was an unbelievable group that made our stay incredible. I had the trip of a lifetime and would drop everything and come back tomorrow if I could.

I will recommend Adventure Life Bolivia to anyone who asks about it. From Juan, our local guide in La Paz, to the staff at Chalalan I was blown away. If I ever make it back, I want Juan to show me the rest of the country. The only suggestion I have is to get better futbol (soccer) players to visit the lodge so we can get our revenge for the two heart-breaking losses to the staff.

Bob Mottershead (Chalalan Lodge + Lake Titicaca, Sep 2006)
Excellent pre-departure support from Adventure Life. Everything I had planned worked like clockwork. On my tour, they were on time and organized for the transportation - amazing for the amount of travel! The driver and tour guides (Juan Vargas in particular) were the best I ever had, and the guides at the lodge were also excellent. The local crew was very helpful and friendly, so pleased that we would want to visit their country. Bolivia is never boring - you never know what's going on or coming up next. Bolivia is a well-kept secret. I hope it stays that way.

Don Martiny (Chalalan Lodge, Jun 2005)
My trip to Bolivia was as happy as it could have been! Everyone was wonderful - really friendly and nice.

Bruce Olson (Chalalan Lodge, Aug 2005)
My trip to the Bolivian Amazon rainforest was the adventure of a lifetime! The trip to Bolivia, and my treatment by Beatriz, the highly professional and personable Adventure Life representative in country, was phenomenal. She handled every detail with a personal touch to make the entire trip a smooth and pleasurable experience.

My visit to Chalalan, the eco-friendly safari lodge deep within the rainforest, was a truly authentic and enchanting adventure in this remote area. The lodge has been built and run by the people of the Tacana village of San Jose de Uchupiamonas, a village with over 390 years of history. They make all the visitors to Chalalan feel extremely welcome with their warm and friendly hospitality and professional customer service expertise. They have created a well-supplied camping area in the middle of Madidi National Park, which their village controls under a title granted by the national government.

The entire Chalalan experience was set up so as to give us the greatest possible exposure to the surrounding rainforest and its animal and plant life. Our guides were the most knowledgeable wildlife experts imaginable, with an uncanny knack at finding the wildlife we were most interested in seeing. From tracing down a herd of over100 wild boars to naming and explaining the medicinal use of virtually every plant in sight, our guide ... Read All

Chalalan Lodge is inspiring- to see what the native Indians have done to preserve and share the forest with others. They were friendly, hard-working, and eager to share their knowledge. They have cooperated to build a space that makes the forest accessible.

Judith Bland (Chalalan Lodge, Dec 2002)
The Chalalan staff and guides were excellent. Food at the lodge was good and plentiful.
