Galapagos Island Cruise

-- Galapagos Cruises --

Susan Zimmer (Galapagos 10 Day Tour -- Millennium, Jan 2008)
Our guide had to be one of the best out there. His knowledge and enthusiasm for the Galapagos was quite clear. Having spent a week in norther Ecuador prior to, we had heard of guides that were not up to par. His passion for his home, The Islands, could be detected in every conversation. I could not have been more pleased with the ship's crew. They surely surpassed my expectations. I have been on 10 cruises around the world and traveling on the Millennium was like traveling on a major cruise line with all of the perks.

A trip of a life time with all expectations being exceeded. I would undoubtedly be a reference for Adventure Life and the Millennium board, guide and crew.

Terri Dion (Galapagos 10 Day Tour -- Athala, Jan 2008)
Luis who met us in Ingapirca and stayed with us to Papallacta and back to Quito was SUPERB! His English is great, he's very knowledgeable, flexible to the whims of the group. Keep this guy! Athala crew was the best! Georgie, the Athala hotel manager, anticipated our every need. The rest of the crew was super also. Regarding food, I would like to recommend the El Altrio in the Mariscal, Quito, as a great restaurant (wonderful food, very reasonable prices.) Food on the Athala was excellent. It was plentiful, tasty and healthful. There were plenty of choices, plenty of snacks, fruits and juices were fabulous!

Had a wonderful time. The Adventure Life staff was the greatest in helping us put this custom trip together!

Tom Crain (Eric / Letty / Flamingo, Jan 2008)
Our Naturalists, both Jaimie, and especially Corrina, were knowledgeable, articulate, and helpful. The crew, from the captain down to the panga drivers, were all friendly and helpful. The food was Michelin star quality. The soups were unbelievable. This was a vacation of a lifetime, and I would recommend it to anyone!

Buda Kajer-Crain (Eric / Letty / Flamingo, Jan 2008)
This was a trip of a life time. It exceeded expectations, and was well worth the expense. I was really looking forward to seeing blue footed boobies and penguins. And I did. Everything else was icing on the cake. It was truly a memorable trip.

Peter Bradford & Teresa Falagrady (Eric / Letty / Flamingo, Nov 2007)
The Galapagos Islands are something not to be missed! Incredible scenery, amazing, unique animals and plants, knowledgeable guides, and a crew onboard who are friendly, helpful and pleasant to be around made this cruise a lifetime highlight.

Angela Pattusch (Anglelito + Sacha Lodge, Nov 2007)
Your Adventure Life crew is one of primary reasons we will book with you again and again. They helped us navigate cleanly through the itinerary options and perceived exactly what we wanted in our package. We felt their support before, during and now after the trip.

The hotel in Santa Cruz was charming, the Angelito was the perfect cozy vessel (crew was top notch!) and the Sacha Lodge was just what we imagined in terms of a jungle lodge.

Guides were fabulous. Diego was informative and friendly, he gracefully and tactfully managed to keep everybody to mind the rules of the park, which is not an easy job! Xavier was also very nice, and the native guide in the jungle (Trolley) was a pleasure to have around, they both went out of their way for us and the little boy in our group. The service was professional, everyone was friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Top marks here.

Our expectations for this trip were set high. On the first day in Galapagos we had to toss this blueprint. There is no preparing for this incredible experience!

Susan Hunter (Millennium, Nov 2007)
We had Louis for our guide, and Carlos for our driver. Louis was an amazing young man who could not do enough for us - a group of four. He was very knowledgeable and engaging. Although language was a barrier at times, everyone we met was extremely helpful and pleasant. The Captain of the Millennium, Angel, was fantastic, mingled with guests, anxious to provide about the boat and sailing itineraries.

We were a private tour group of four with a great bit of travel experience. We had very high expectations for this trip, and not only were the expectations met, in most areas they were exceeded.

Stefanie Smith (Fragata, Oct 2007)
For me, visiting the Galapagos was a dream come true and Adventure Life was a big part of making it happen. Walking on the beach and seeing newborn sea lion pups, looking at flamingos serenely fishing for shrimp in their lagoon, and watching blue footed boobies doing their mating dance were unique images I will never forget - especially since I'm constantly showing people my photos!

Ann Strauss (Angelique, Oct 2007)
Edwin on board the Angelique was a mine of information, amusing, helpful and well informed. We enjoyed his briefing sessions, and each day's travel plans that he illustrated for us with humorous drawings on a board.

Kudos to our chef aboard the Angelique-he and his helper provided us with three delicious cooked meals a day-lots of fresh fruit and salads. We were ravenous all of the time! Another nice touch, was the tray of snacks that awaited us at the end of our afternoon activity-whether it be snorkeling or out walking with the guide.

The tour was quite unique-not so much in terms of the amount of wildlife, but in the overall experience of being on a boat for 8 days, the snorkeling and the fact that the birds and sea lions, iguanas, tortoises etc., are so FEARLESS of us lesser mortals. I loved every moment!

Sarah Jaquette (Anahi, Aug 2007)
This trip was the first (and maybe only) big family trip we've ever done, and it was a plan my mother had been dreaming of since we were small kids. Now, we're all in our thirties, and it's not clear how long our parents will be able to do these kinds of adventures, so it was quite possibly the most special trip ever. Given that eight of us occupied the boat and that this was such a special trip, the trip matched our expectations. We really couldn't have had a better time. All of us felt like we were revisiting childhood, and the guide in particular transmitted the ecological significance of the islands so well, which made us all really appreciate what we were witnessing. This trip was BIG. I wish we could've stayed even longer!

Wendy Morgan (Guantanamera, Aug 2007)

One of the reasons I finally choose Adventure Life was the feeling I got when talking to your representatives. DarAnne was enthusiastic and helpful in picking out the right trip for my family. Marissa was very efficient in processing our travel info. This is the first time I have every done something like this over the internet and I always felt secure.

We loved the boat (Guantanamera). Again, the staff was so nice and our guide(Victor Mendia)was knowledgeable and had a gentle nature. The Hostal de La Rabida was perfect! My son said it felt like home. The staff was very nice and even had breakfast for us at 5am when we needed it! Our favorite was the Sacha Lodge. My husband is telling everyone it is the most amazing thing he has ever done! The lodge, the setting, the accommodations and the staff were amazing! But, I must say the person that really made it most amazing was our guide, Gustavo Recalde! He was knowledgeable, fun and made us feel special! He really tailored the experience to us! It was amazing!

As you can tell, we were extremely happy! I will certainly recommend Adventure-Life and vacationing in Ecuador!

Adonica Gieger (Eric / Letty / Flamingo, Aug 2007)
A dream holiday: we were educated, indulged, amused and astonished. Every detail & contingency was covered. The crew who piloted the Flamingo's zodiacs were wonderful. The Bellavista staff went above & beyond to be helpful. Our guide Orlando, in particular, was lovely & his many years experience were invaluable. The food was also excellent. Surely there's some special Michelin star for producing three hot delicious meals, two snacks & drinks, daily, for 30 people, on four burners in a kitchen approx 6'x6' !?! Flamingo Cuisine! The trip was worth every single penny!

Melitta Hoenle and Anna Boyd (Eric/Letty/Flamingo, Jul 2007)
Our trip was great. The staff at Adventure Life gave immediate responses to my questions pre-departure. All of the local staff was great, very helpful and well organized. The Mansion del Angel was beautiful. It was a revelation to see the awe and wonder in my granddaughter's eye upon seeing the bounty and beauty of the islands.

Trudy Katzer and Ryan Moore (Galapagos Cruise: Eric, Letty, Flamingo, Jul 2007)
The trip was excellent. I chose it because there would be other kids. My grandson had never been away from his parents before, but there was never a twinge of home-sickness. Almost every night Ryan would exclaim, "This is the best trip ever Grandma! Thank you, thank you, thank you!" He especially liked snorkeling with the sea lions. We also enjoyed our guides: Guillermo in Quito and Otavalo was great, and Karina on the Eric was also first rate. I would recommend this trip for anyone traveling with children. My grandson wished we could stay another week! In about two years when I'll take Ryan's younger brother, Chris on a trip, I'll check you out again!

Elinor Dickson (Galapagos Cruise: Fragata, Feb 2007)
Adventure Life's attention to detail and timeline was a comfort in a new place. This tour was muy bueno! I want to return and take my husband and we will definitely use Adventure Life again.

Linda and David Bowlin and Max Oakley (Galapagos Cruise: Beluga, Jun 2007)
This tour was absolutely jaw-dropping, awesome, and incredible. This tour was so much more than I expected.

Karen Javaruski (Galapagos Cruise: Angelito, May 2007)
This tour was excellent and amazing, I will recommend it to everyone!

Jamie and Fiona Kukiewicz (Galapagos Cruise: Nemo, May 2007)
Everything ran exactly as planned. Raphael, our guide, was knowledgeable and friendly. This was probably the best trip we have ever done!!

Marilyn Middendorf (Galapagos Cruise: Samba, Jun 2007)
I thought I had a great time on my first trip to the Galapagos on the Seaman back in 2005, but the trip aboard the Samba was at least 50% better! The wildlife was even more abundant and accessible; our guide, Juan Manuel, was wonderful. Most "walks" were beautifully arranged to build towards a climax.

Ann Carter and Joyce Olin (Galapagos: Samba, Jun 2007)
This was the best trip. The Galapagos Islands are amazing in themselves, but all of your arrangements, the boat, the guide, and the weather were amazing.

Juan Manuel was an extraordinary persona. He was knowledgeable, serious, amusing, tireless, and enthusiastic about his subjects. Throughout the tour we were comfortable, well fed, amused, and educated.

I don't know how this tour could have been better -except for longer.

Shirazi Family (Galapagos Cruise: Corals, Jun 2007)
Everyone at Adventure Life was very professional, prompt, and willing to take the extra step. This tour was everything we expected.

Jay and Gloria (Galapagos: Millennium, Jan 2007)
This was our first cruise and it was excellent. The cabins were beautiful and the entire boat was well kept.

Om Narasimhan and Prokriti Mukmerji (Galapagos Cruise: Nemo, Mar 2007)
Our guides were well informed, enthusiastic, and a pleasure to have around. The cook went out of his way to make delicious vegetarian meals for us.

Nancy and Ralph Heerens-Knudson (Galapagos: Nemo, Feb 2007)
The catamaran was perfect for the type of trip we were looking for; not too fancy and big enough for people to gather and talk. We have told our friends about our time and I would recommend Adventure Life as a great tour operator for access to quality local eco-tours and experiences.

Marcy and John Melanson (Galapagos: Nemo, Feb 2007)
Our captain and crew were great. The ship was run well and very clean. We were on Nemo I in the Galapagos and the food was unbelievably good. Our cook Alex was terrific. This tour was perfect!

Gunilla Eva Peters (Galapagos Multisport, Jan 2007)
Our guide, Alfredo, was great. All of the boat and truck transports were all right on time. He taught us so much about the plants, birds, volcanoes, tortoises, fish, etc. He truly loved his job and the islands. He made the boat turn around on several occasions to pick up garbage floating on the ocean.

Sherie Dowsett (Galapagos Cruise: Cachalote and Sacha Lodge, Jan 2007)
This was an amazing place. So far off the beaten track, yet still that element of luxury. The naturalist and local guides were fantastic. The staff was extremely polite and friendly at the lodge-a really well run set-up. I even had my birthday there and they made me a wonderful cake. After dinner, I was settling up my bill with one of the staff members and he gave me a Sacha Lodge T-shirt as a present for my birthday-wonderful! We were only there for two full days, but saw so much. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Debbi and Kendall Young (Galapagos Cruise: Millennium, Feb 2007)
Our trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos was amazing. Each island was more beautiful than the last with so much to see! Being so close to the animals and especially snorkeling with sea lions (and even a few white-tipped sharks) is an experience my 10-year-old daughter will never forget. Being on a small yacht made the adventure a pleasure and the guide and crew did a fantastic job keeping us happy and organized. We also really enjoyed our trip to Otavalo. Horseback riding at Hacienda Pinsaqui and the museum at the equator was a highlight for my daughter (she loved balancing an egg on a nail and seeing other experiments) and I enjoyed buying beautiful leather goods at Cotacachi and visiting the Otavalo Market.

Joyce and Ed Rosenthal (Galapagos Cruise: Millennium, Jan 2007)
The local crew were very helpful, respectful, and did everything that was expected of them and more. We had a great cabin and an excellent guide of the islands.

Koen (Galapagos Cruise: Spondylus, Jan 2007)
Everything was perfectly organized and the Spondylus boat is a great way to visit the Galapagos.

Barbara Froula and Timothy Adams (Galapagos Cruise: Evolution, Dec 2006)
The Casa Aliso is a beautiful hotel. This was the best tour ever and will be hard to top!

Gordon Family (Allen Feld Charter) (Galapagos: Millennium, Dec 2006)
Our naturalist, Ximena, was outstanding! She was very passionate and committed to her work and very knowledgeable about everything. The cooks and ship's crew were very friendly and the food on the Millennium was delicious.

Julie and Thomas Brantley (Galapagos: Eric/Letty/Flamingo, Sep 2006)
The Flamingo was very comfortable and the Mansion del Angle in Quito was charming. Both our guides were excellent-great communication and their enthusiasm was catchy. The food on the tour was very good and well balanced. I am amazed with what delicious and pretty food came out of that small kitchen on the Flamingo. I can't think of a single negative-we were busy everyday, but had enough time to relax. The educational value was high as well.

Nancy Carman (Galapagos: Cachalote, Oct 2006)
Our guide, Monica Plaza, was superb and is extremely knowledgeable. She had a terrific demeanor throughout. The crew worked hard to provide excellent service and the food was terrific.

Peter Casano and Betsy Fogg (Galapagos Cruise: Mary Anne, Oct 2006)
Our local guide, Desiree, was wonderful. She did an excellent job and her briefings were very informative. Everyone was great, friendly, and polite, but not too casual. They were always professional and we felt very welcome. The food on the ship was also more than we could have expected.

We even got engaged at Gardner Beach-Espanola Island on Day 2. The rest of the week we were known as the "Engaged Couple." We really had a blast.

Jane Capellupo (Galapagos: Eric/Letty/Flamingo, Aug 2006)
The local crews were exceptionally outgoing and happy. The cooks were always singing in the kitchen and the crew was very accommodating to special needs. We saw and did so much, but the pacing was such that I never felt overwhelmed. I had plenty of down time to re-group. The mix of travelers on our boat, "The Flamingo," was so good.

Samuel and Naomi Abramson (Galapagos Cruise: Corals, Dec 2006)
The guides were friendly, accomodating, and eager to share their knowledge with us. The ship's staff was top notch and the food was high quality.

Barb Jansen (Galapagos: Samba, Jul 2006)
I was happy with all of the accommodations on the Samba. We loved our guide, Santiago. He was kind, knowledgeable, sweet, helpful...just perfect. I keep dreaming about this tour. It was the best thing I have ever done.

Robin Orr and Susan Cook (Galapagos Cruise Eric/Letty/Flamingo, Nov 2006)
The local guides were enthusiastic and helpful. They made this trip very special and a life changing experience. This tour was great and surpassed my expectations in quality of boat accommodations, crew and guides. Adventure Life is one of the few organizations in the world that get what matters most-"the customers." Adventure Life loves what they do and they do what they love. What a delight-to find a travel company that cares.

Jeremiah and Kimberly Sipes (Galapagos: Guantanamera, Dec 2006)
The naturalist on the boat was wonderful. He was eager to teach us the history of the islands and about all of the animals in each location. The food on the boat was fantastic, very healthy and fresh, with good portions. The trip was more than we expected. This is the trip of a lifetime for animal lovers or anyone who wants to experience a one of a kind adventure.

Susan Hong and James Baker (Galapagos: Legend, Dec 2006)
The Legend is a beautiful boat and run efficiently. I think Adventure Life has a real feel for finding clean, unique, and reasonably priced properties with beautiful staff and style. I picked this company out on the Internet because of their great website and philosophy. I can tell from the people and lodgings you recommended what you value in adventure and eco-travel. I have a newfound love for South America and believe you're doing a nice job introducing people to its wonders with respect and thoughtfulness.

Brian and Lesli Bressler (Galapagos Cruise Eric/Letty/Flamingo, Oct 2006)
The friendliness and enthusiasm of the guides was fantastic! Overall, our guides were enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and entertaining and the ship crew aboard the Eric were delightful.

Shirley Dooley and Anthony Conroy, Jr. (Galapagos Cruise: Millennium, Jun 2006)
From my first phone call to Adventure Life and to my last good-bye-all went perfectly. I have always wanted to go to the Galapagos and when my fourteen year old proposed this trip for his eighth grade graduation I was delighted. It was a magical and mystifying trip. The animals were a delight to watch and I was amazed at how close we could get to them and they weren't afraid of us. The "Sally light footer" greeting us on our first island landing ever was a delight to behold-especially against the black lava rocks. I'll never forget it.

Lisa Bridges (Galapagos Cruise: Spondylus and the Otavalo Market, Oct 2006)
I expected great things from the Galapagos portion and wasn't disappointed. The Otovalo market trip was much more than expected-it was great having a guide and driver for the two of us! I really enjoyed my conversations with Javier and learning about the people and the area around Otavalo.

Susan and Gary Freed (Galapagos Cruise Eric/Letty/Flamingo, Oct 2006)
Our trip was fantastic. We were met at the airport, taken to and settled in at our hotel-5 star! The plane trip was terrific and from the minute we stepped onto the Galapagos, the adventure was underway. The 20 passengers aboard the Flamingo bonded quickly and enjoyed the trip to the separate islands. We saw unbelievable birds--colorful and totally oblivious to us. The sea lions were playful-especially as we snorkeled among them. We saw and photographed sea turtles, a lovely spotted eagle ray, penguins, boobies, and albatrosses--too many wonderful things to list. And the food...absolutely delicious; beautifully prepared and presented. We were so busy hiking, learning things, and spending time talking about each day's adventures. What an unbelievable and fantastic trip!

Anne Fraver (Galapagos Cruise: Spondylus and Otavalo Market, Oct 2006)
Our local tour guides were excellent. Pamela was wonderful in greeting us and guiding us while in Quito. Luis, our Galapagos guide, was tremendous-as was Javier-for our Otavalo tour. Luis and Javier took very good care of us and gave us very good information about the areas we visited. The food on our tour was great as well, especially on the Spondylus!

Marcia Allison (Galapagos Cruise: Encantada, Oct 2006)
Our tour guide, Vidal, was exceptional. He was not only a great guide, but seems to embody the cultural sensibility Adventure Life represents. I can't speak highly enough of Vidal. This was the proverbial trip of a lifetime.

Parul Mehta (Galapagos Cruise: Athala, Oct 2006)
I loved the Mansion de Angel in Quito. It was a beautiful hotel and the service was above and beyond expectations. The Athala in the Galapagos was better than expected. The rooms were enormous and the service was superior. The food on the ship was excellent. The chef accommodated everyone's needs and tastes. The quality of the food was fabulous. This was the best trip I have ever taken. I am having a difficult time finding something as interesting and exciting.

Linda and Larry Sipes (Galapagos: Guantanamera, Dec 2006)
Colin and Sharma were very responsive to all of our questions. Our local crew was very accommodating and we enjoyed our tour immensely!

Barbara and Terry Zenser (Galapagos Cruise: Alta, Nov 2006)
The Mansion del Angel is truly special and the Ship Alta was a great experience! Both were superb. The naturalist on the Alta, Julian, was truly cordial and extremely well informed.

Edwin, Hedy, Molly, & Rosalie Campbell (Galapagos Category 3 Cruise - Coral II, Aug 2006)
A couple of years ago, Rosalie, our youngest, invented a holiday: National Hedgehog Day. It falls on August 24. We always do something to commemorate it. This year it fell while we were in the Galapagos. I remembered sort of all of a sudden while walking around on one of the islands, and mentioned it to someone else in our group. As soon as we got back on the boat, she went to see the cook, and asked if he could somehow make a hedgehog (porcuspino in Spanish). He made a beautiful creation out of a melon, a box of toothpicks, and a couple of raisins and presented it to Rosalie during dinner. She smiled and laughed like it was Christmas morning. The next day it was the centerpiece on the buffet, extending the celebration another day. I was much impressed with the cook's willingness and creativity on short notice. It was a really memorable moment for all of us.

Matt Wilson & Nacole Marquess (Galapagos 7 Day Tour -- Spondylus, Jun 2006)
Our guide was very knowledgeable and eager to share with us. We enjoyed our cruise. I was very surprised with the enthusiasm and customer support from Adventure Life at such a modest price. In addition, we were well prepared for our trip based on all the info provided by ALJ. Thanks!

Marc, Shari & Jeffrey Stewart, and Emily Smith (Galapagos 10 Day Tour -- Millennium, Jun 2006)
All the boat crew were extremely friendly, very helpful--nice! And the food was delicious. We had a wonderful experience. Everything was perfect--very well planned by your agency.

RoseMarie Mason (Galapagos 10 Day Tour -- Millennium, Jun 2006)
Our guide, Johanna, was absolutely the best! Knowledgeable and enthustiastic about the islands. The boat crew was helpful in every way, and the food was gourmet! Everything was fresh--fresh vegetables and fruit--it was all plentiful and delicious.

Fabulous tour. It's the kind of trip oen dreams about, for years--and it was never a disappointment! The cabins were far more spacious than I imagined they could be. Both the Millennium and its crew were great--only superlatives for this trip.

Amy Levit (Galapagos 7 Day Tour -- Legend, Jul 2006)
The bed & breakfast in Quito was fabulous! Mansion de Angel--I loved it. The crew on the Legend was wonderful, too. Very friendly and helpful. I liked the buffet--plenty of choices, good food. This tour was fabulous, I loved every second. It was the most amazing trip I have ever taken. I didn't want to come home!

John & Marilyn Miller (Galapagos 10 Day Tour -- Parranda, May 2006)
Excellent accommodations! We can't stop saying WOW--over the top, very nice to be pampered. The food was great. We really miss the chef and server/bartender. I ate so well yet lost 2 lbs with all the adventure and activities!

The Parranda crew was fantastic. Our guide in Quito, Alex, was phenomenal. He tailored our trip to Cotopaxi to suit our needs. Our day with Alex was a great send-off to the Galapagos.

Lean Adams and Michael Reidy (Galapagos Category I Cruise - Aida Maria, May 2006)
We loved our boat! Our guide was enthusiastic about the history, flora and fauna of the Galapagos and passionate about preserving them. The tour was outstanding!

Ken and Mary McCormick (Galapagos Category I Cruise - Fragata, May 2006)
We had a great time and a tremendous experience! What a wonderful place! The Fragata was a terrific yacht and the people were great. We also stayed for 1 night (I wish it were more!) at the Red Mangrove Inn. We had an unbelievable room - tree top and overlooking the ocean. What a view!! All in all a wonderful trip.

Sarah Hindle (Galapagos Category III Cruise - Erik/Letty/Flamingo, Mar 2006)
The tour was FANTASTIC! It is hard to articulate the experiences we had. But they were magical, awesome, educational, spiritual! This was a wonderful way to share a vacation with 3 generations!

Kay Yost (Galapagos Category II Cruise - Archipel, Apr 2006)
The Galapagos is a very magical place that exceeded our high expectations!

Mary Hilton (Galapagos Category I Cruise (Angelique), Mar 2006)
Thank you so much for making this somewhat inexperienced world traveler feel so confident. The trip to the Galapagos changed my worldview and the trip went so smoothly. I had a wonderful time!

Dennis Riordan (Galapagos Category 1 Cruise - Angelique + Sacha Lodge, Mar 2006)
Amazing! The duration of my trip was one month - and this was my first international travel experience! With Adventure Life I always knew someone was there for me. What a great comfort! The trip was far beyond my expectations!!

Mike Rischbieter - Presbyterian College Group (Galapagos Category 3 Cruise - Eric/Letty/Flamingo, May 2006)
We had a GREAT time!! Everything worked out perfectly... all the accommodations were the best and our guides were top notch. The students loved the itinerary - just long enough at each place without too much time. You guys are the best!

Joan Hanson (Galapagos Deluxe Cruise - Nemo I, Mar 2006)
The Nemo I was the best! It took us to lots of different spots, and we were able to snorkel and dive 2 times every day. The crew told us what to expect each day.

Every day was well planned and we knew just what we were going to do and see at every moment. We got lots of time to read, nap, eat, talk, and relax. Our guide made sure we were first on the trail in the early morning and then we walked again in the late afternoon. We were able to swim and rest in the heat of the day.

The tour was excellent! Adventure Life was a lucky find and we thank you all!

Wannetta Elliot (Galapagos Tourist Cruise - Sulidae, Feb 2006)
All of us had a wonderful time. We especially loved the snorkeling. There is just no other place like it! Thanks for all of your help in planning the trip.

Catherine Henninger (Galapagos Luxury Cruise - Eric/Letty/Flamingo, Jan 2006)
The whole crew on the yacht was wonderful. This was one of my best trips, ever!

Dot Skelley (Galapagos Deluxe Cruise - Archipel, Jan 2006)
The guides were always there with a warm smile, always friendly and courteous. A traveler couldn't ask for more from them. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Jane Clement (Galapagos Category II Cruise - Nemo I, Mar 2005)
We usually plan and book our own trips, airlines, accommodations and tours. This tour was especially nice because you did most of those things for us! Decisions were made and we were well taken care of. A real treat for us! We'll travel like this again. Thank you!

Jed Leonard (Galapagos Tourist Cruise - Fragata, Dec 2005)
The boat was great! We met some great people from around the world that shared a common sense of adventure. We had a fantastic time in the Galapagos!

Bob and Judy Bubel (Galapagos Deluxe Cruise - Archipel + Machu Picchu by Train, Nov 2005)
We had an absolutely terrific trip, and thanks to your help, everything went as expected. The guides for both the Galapagos and Machu Picchu were very good. In particular, our Galapagos guide was superb - excellent in-depth knowledge with terrific personality and attitude! Thanks again for your efforts and help!

Anita Cohen and Martin Van Lith (Galapagos Luxury Cruise - Millennium, Dec 2005)
We had a wonderful time - our group was great, the ship and crew were great, and the Galapagos Islands were amazing!

Sandra Kaye Brogden (Galapagos Tourist Cruise - Angelito, Dec 2005)
The Galapagos is a great treasure, and being able to make the trip with the Angelito crew was an added bonus. They were always in an upbeat mood and seemed to love their work.

To be able to walk where few have or will; to see nature at it's pristine perfection and to be surrounded by competent support staff to keep me safe, well instructed, healthy and happy in a far away land was beyond expectations (and I had high expectations).

Thanks for the gift of a peek at the marvels in the Galapagos.

Bob Rogers (Galapagos Luxury Cruise - Corals, Dec 2005)
It was like being invisible in the presence of mother birds and fluff-feathered chicks. We were just inches away. It was a singular experience in every sense. We were walking in a kind of Eden.

Jon Lund and Joan Sturmthal (Galapagos Deluxe Cruise - Archipel, Nov 2005)
We enjoyed our trip immensely - even more than we anticipated. The boat was perfect and spotless. More important, the staff was terrific - and it seemed genuine. They worked hard but obviously enjoyed themselves. They were as friendly and helpful as could be. The crew was concerned about our welfare, and we felt well cared for.

The guide was very well informed, but he also let us just enjoy the animals and scenery. We never felt rushed or that the guide was impatient. He adapted our schedule for maximum pleasure - such as seeing the sunrise on top of Bartolome Island without having hordes of people around.

We'd recommend this trip most enthusiastically!

Benita Fry-DeLarm and Francoise Yohalem (Galapagos Tourist Cruise - Angelito, Dec 2005)
Thank you for all of the arrangements that you made on our behalf. The Galapagos cruise was superb, and we really enjoyed the boat.

Jill Montgomery (Galapagos Luxury Cruise - Eclipse, Nov 2005)
This was one of the best trips we have ever taken! It is the first time we have traveled with a company making the arrangements for us - we usually travel independently. We loved what Adventure Life did for us and we would not have seen or done so much as independent travelers.

We hope to spend more time in the future traveling to South America, and we now would not attempt to do so without Adventure Life making the arrangements!

Delphine Louie (Galapagos Luxury Cruise - Millennium, Dec 2005)
The tour was just wonderful, with plenty of time in between activities in order to relax. We especially appreciated the coordination between the boats that allowed us to be on an island by ourselves.

Sheree Broomhall (Galapagos Luxury Cruise - Archipel, Nov 2005)
The trip was incredible, everything was very organized and the days were filled with lots of activities to do. The boat was amazing, much bigger and nicer than what we were expecting. The sun deck on the boat is great!! We enjoyed the fact that there was just a small number of people on the boat and that the trip took us to parts of the Galapagos that a lot of the other boats don't go to, meaning there were days when we didn't even see other tourists! The fact that we could also get so close to all the animals was way beyond our expectations. There was no need for a zoom on our cameras! Highlights would have to include swimming with the sea lions, and giant turtles.

Leslie & Leonard Alexander (Galapagos Tourist Cruise - Sulidae + Otavalo, Oct 2005)
The Hacienda Pinsaqui was a dream! What an amazing place. Our guides were exceptional. The Sulidae was great! Everyone was friendly and thoughtful. Meals - magnificent! Highly recommend the Sulidae. OUTSTANDING!

Nancy Whiton (Galapagos Deluxe Cruise - Archipel + Bellavista + Cotopaxi, Oct 2005)
We had a wonderful time - better than expected. Everyone in Ecuador was very friendly. Wish we had known how great Ecuador is; we would have stayed longer and gone further south.

Edwina Russell (Galapagos Tourist Cruise - Fragata, Sep 2005)
Our guide, Ivan, was a serious defender of the Galapagos. He is enthusiastic without being silly or condescending. The crew was excellent. The chef was just great. Friendly and attentive. The other crew members were helpful and kind.

You did a great job of getting the most out of my short trip. I'm glad I finally realized my dream of going to the Galapagos.

Hania Grabowski and Rick Mundell (Galapagos Luxury Cruise - Eric/Letty/Flamingo, Sep 2005)
We are back at home and I just wanted to send a note of appreciation to all who organized and were involved in our tour in the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador. The Galapagos trip was fantastic. Thank you for your timely information, excellent tour planning and organization and for a terrific holiday. It was a pleasure arranging or holiday with you.

Betty, your representative in Quito called when we arrived and was very helpful. She sent a young man called Andres to accompany us for our transfers to and from the hotel and airport to Galapagos. He deserves special mention. Andres was efficient, on time, charming and went out of his way to oprovide information and service. He will go far. He is studying tourism and I suspect will be a wonderful future employee.

Our boat, the Letty, was absolutely fantastic. The staff on board went out of their way, always with a smile, to make sure that we all had a terrifc (and safe) holiday. The food was great and always on time. The Pangas (small boats to reach shore at our stops) were well designed and had very experienced drivers. It was clear that the staff on board worked well together as a team and were extremely well organized from the first wake up call in the morning to the end of the day. Lastly, our tour guides...Pepe (Jose) and Karina. They could not have done a better job of giving us wonderful, ... Read All

Janet and Ian Richards (Galapagos Tourist Cruise - Estrella del Mar + La Selva Lodge, Jul 2005)
This was a great trip, with great support from Adventure Life. I was very pleased with the help that we received from the local staff in Ecuador.

The Galapagos cruise was unbelievable. Great crew, fantastic food, nice yacht, plenty of activities. I liked the fact that even though there were dives taking place, those of us who did not dive were well taken care of - there were always alternate activities to do.

The jungle lodge was equally enjoyable. We liked having small groups attached to very knowledgeable guides. All the guests that we spoke to agreed that they were getting great personal attention.

All the staff was outstanding, both on the ship and at the lodge. The naturalist guides deserve special mention - they really knew their stuff, and this made a very positive and large difference in our ability to learn and enjoy.

We can't wait to go back!

Robert Ganley (Galapagos Luxury Cruise - Mistral, Jul 2005)
The trip was wonderful and I think that Adventure Life did a great gob with all of the arrangements, answering my questions, and the follow through. The trip was a dream come true for me!

Loren Hughes (Galapagos Deluxe Cruise - Cachalote, Jul 2005)
The trip exceeded my expectations! The biomass on land and in water in the Galapagos was incredible. Adventure Life did a great job of coordinating the many facets of travel... accommodations, air, transports, etc. I would highly recommend this trip and Adventure Life!

Michelle Macurak (Galapagos Tourist 10-day, Aug 2005)
The trip exceeded what I thought it would be, and I met some great people from around the world. We all exchanged e-mail address and hope to stay in touch. I keep telling everyone how incredible the Galapagos and Quito are. The trip was incredible -- I would go back in a heartbeat, but it also makes me want to look into another trip with Adventure Life.

James and Christine Ryan (Galapagos Deluxe Cruise - Cachalote, Mar 2005)
The tour was excellent! The crew on the Cachalote was the best!! We loved every minute with them.

Yvonne Brady (Galapagos Tourist Cruise - Seaman + Bellavista Lodge, May 2005)
This was the trip of a lifetime! I couldn't have asked for a better tour.

Mike Salmon and Jeanette Wyneken (Galapagos Luxury Cruise - Eric/Letty/Flamingo, Mar 2005)
The tour was exciting, thorough, and physically demanding. The guides were very knowledgeable and sensitive to everyone's feelings. The captain and crew were gracious and did everything possible to make us feel welcome.

Andy Reynolds and Donna Stringer (Galapagos Luxury Millenium Cruise, Mar 2005)
Our entire trip was an experience to last for a lifetime! The accommodations were excellent and all of the people with whom we interacted were caring sensitive people. The Millennium crew was top notch and lots of fun and our guide was, and is, a great educator and human being. When comparing our Adventure Life tour with the experiences of several others on our ship, we learned that the services we received were much, much better than they had. The best way we can put it is: the value of experience we had was greater than the price we paid.

Terry Toot (Galapagos Tourist, Jan 2005)
Fantastic! The crew was wonderful. Excellent experience. I would recommend this boat (Angelito).

Jackie Lloyd (Galapagos Deluxe, Jan 2005)
The service was more than we expected. The tour of a lifetime. Luis (naturalist guide in Galapagos) you can tell he loves the islands and is so knowledgeable. We had people from other boats wanted to join us because of Luis. Everyone worked so hard to make our trip memorable, staring with the hotel staff, Gustavo (our guide) in Quito, Luis and the boat's crew. My friend's birthday was during our trip and they baked a cake and had a party. The panga driver would always make sure everyone got the pictures they wanted. You felt so pampered. I will use Adventure Life again.

Karyn and Richard Gilman (Galapagos Luxury, Jan 2005)
Very good - well organized and lots of things to see. Our time was utilized well. We also enjoyed the fellow travelers - a great mix of expertise, intelligence and fun.

Larry and Lynn Johnson (Galapagos Deluxe, Jan 2005)
Fantastic! Loved it. A unique experience. Wonderful people - crew and tourists. Learned a lot about the fascinating ecology of the Galapagos. The trip was everything we expected and more. Was apprehensive about being on a boat, but loved it. The guide and staff were very professional and punctual. Was impressed with the care the National Park takes to preserve the Islands. Would hate to see more tourists allowed there than already are. Our boat was small - was surprised that most other boats were larger. I think the smaller groups are much better and easier to handle. Overall - one of our best trips ever (and we travel a lot!). Thank you!

Cherril Gillette (Galapagos Luxury, Jan 2005)
Excellent. It was a trip of a lifetime.

James Fein and Marie Barr (Galapagos Luxury, Jan 2005)
Galapagos is truly a unique and a terrific experience. Adventure Life is a great way to go there.

Christy Schenarts (Galapagos Deluxe, Feb 2005)
The Galapagos trip was as expected - excellent. The true surprise was being treated like royalty at La Rabida hotel both pre and post trip. It was like they know I was there 5 minutes before I was -- carrying bags, arranging taxis, keeping me dry under an umbrella. Fantastic!

Shelke and Hewes Family (Galapagos Tourist Cruise Angelito + Otovalo Market + Bellavista, Dec 2004)
Your portrayal of our trip to the Galapagos and what we experienced were right on! It truly was the trip of a lifetime. If there's one trip to take your family on - with respect to affordability, education, fun, challenging treks and swims, natural splendor, and the best of the best - a trip to the Galapagos on a small yacht is it!!

Gayle Darr, Parker Hoffman, Teresa Walton (Galapagos Luxury Flamingo, Dec 2004)
I brought my grandson to learn about this unique place - the Galapagos Islands - to understand the need for conservation and to experience respect for the animals and the land. The guides kept him engaged in the process of learning every day. I'm sure he will remember this trip for the rest of his life. We ended our trip feeling we have made new friends of our fellow passengers on the yacht and I anticipate we will stay in touch after our return. I felt that this trip would be great but it actually exceeded my expectations by a lot! It was a trip of a lifetime.

Guenter Family (Galapagos Tourist Fragata, Jan 2004)
The entire ship's crew, inc. Juan, our guide, were absolutely great!! Gustavo, our guide in Quito was also excellent...This was truly an outstanding trip!! The entire 2 week adventure was certainly a trip of a lifetime and we would highly recommend it to anyone!!

Clarence Sundram (Galapagos Tourist Fragata, Feb 2004)
Everything worked like a charm. The tour guide was friendly, personable, and accommodating. Everyone was friendly and helpful...An exceptional experience. We wer happy that we chose a small boat. There were 15 people from all parts of the world. The atmosphere was informal- it was easy getting to the islands- no long waits like the big boats and no crowds.

Sonja Raslavicus (Galapagos Tourist Seaman, Feb 2004)
I had a fabulous time- unforgettable...The trip was great, great people on boat, wonderful scenery and wildlife. Good experience. Adventure Life- will suggest to others.

Mary Livingston (Galapagos Deluxe Samba, Mar 2004)
Franklin is an excellent and enthusiastic naturalist- he showed us so much!

Linda Yu (Galapagos Luxury Legend, Mar 2004)
Beyond our excited hopes! We ran into a family who told us they started their Galapagos reservations with another company and never got a good response and then found Adventure Life and everything went smoothly. We started with you so we didn't know how lucky we were from the start! Mansion del Angel was such a find! We loved staying in that beautiful house, so unlike the slick, modern hotels. When we arrived, fresh flowers were everywhere and rose petals were scattered on our robes. Onboard the Legend everyone was kind and helpful. We had a super naturalist named Samuel Quiroz. On the islands- heaven! Seeing all the wildlife was spectacular.

Dale Hill (Galapagos Deluxe Archipel, Apr 2004)
Archipel yacht set up was excellent. Sundeck was absolutely the best of any other yacht. Crew was just great!

Terry Schneider (Galapagos Luxury Legend + La Selva Jungle, Apr 2004)
Great trip. One of the best we've had. Would absolutely go through you again!

Dennis Bangs (Galapagos Tourist Angelique, Mar 2004)
The accommodations in Quito were very comfortable and the people extremely helpful. The Angelique was wonderful beyond words...Like I have been telling a lot of people, I have been anticipating a trip to the Galapagos for almost 30 years and was not at all disappointed. In fact, it was better than expected. Two things made the trip much more than I had expected. The first was the boat. The Angelique was a real treat to be able to spend 10 days aboard. I like sailboats and just being aboard such a boat traveling from one island to the next was a treat...The other thing that made the trip such a treat was the efficiency and coordination of all of the details that the Adventure Life people did. I have been telling people that everything went so smooth it wasn't like adventure traveling at all. It was like a first class tour.

Wendy and Simon Bateson (Galapagos Luxury Alta, Apr 2004)
This was our second trip to the Galapagos Islands organized by Adventure Life. You can see our impressions of our first trip [below].We enjoyed our first trip so much we just had to come back!...Roberto, our guide in Galapagos took charge of the party right at the airport and made sure we all got on the boat safely. The tours to the islands were all we expected. Roberto was obviously very knowledgeable and articulate about what we were seeing. The snorkeling was excellent; we swam with sea lions, turtles and the occasional nurse shark! The evening mini lectures and tomorrow's schedules were useful and interesting. On the Alta, the cabins were evidently newly built...The food was excellent and the cook made a secret birthday cake for Wendy's birthday on Thursday. The crewmembers were uniformly helpful and considerate and the Captain was absolutely charming. We enjoyed the whole trip as much, perhaps more, than we expected to. The efficiency of the Adventure Life organization was impressive. We would most certainly use Adventure Life again.

Sharon Garrett and Cary Osfeld (Galapagos Tourist Fragata, Apr 2004)
The Fragata accommodations were very clean and modern. Lots of outdoor decks for sunning, reading, and watching wildlife. The Sierra Madre Hotel has great charm and service...We felt genuinely liked- our slightest need was taken care of. Ship's chef was excellent and naturalist very knowledgeable...Can't wait to do another one with you- Machu Picchu is next!

Barbara Levine (Galapagos Tourist Angelito+ Otavalo and Bellavista, May 2004)
[Our tour leader was] wonderful- couldn't ask for more- lecturer, photographer, hiker, best guide I have ever had- what luck we had. Hansel was a walking Galapagos encyclopedia. Dorsey at Bellavista- excellent, funny- crew at Angelito superb, caring. Service at hacienda and Bellavista first class...This was the most exciting and diverse vacation ever.

Glenn Sigel (Galapagos Tourist Fragata+ Sacha Lodge, May 2004)
Excellent- Betty and her staff were all pleasant and sweet. Guides were excellent. Food was very plentiful on both the boat and lodge- good food. We were pampered by the crew in Ecuador with being picked up and dropped off at the airport and having the guide get our boarding passes, etc. Thanks for arranging the trip!!

Tracy Wright (Galapagos Deluxe Tip Top II, May 2004)
I have just returned from a two week trip on the Tip Top II and I wanted to tell you what a wonderful job your Captain, Pedro Rocafuerte, and his crew did. I was incredibly impressed in particular by the efforts of the barman, Edgar, as well as the two sailors, Carlos and Gonzalo. In combination with the guide, Duncan Divine, their efforts made the trip exceptional and I was very sorry to leave.

Nancy and George Bove (Galapagos Tourist Angelito + Sacha, Jun 2004)
Angelito had an excellent guide- Hansel. Sacha Lodge was well organized. Great views and service. Betty did a great job...Galapagos is such a unique place in the world for wildlife- you don't want to miss it.

Lynn Family (Galapagos Tourist Angelito, Jun 2004)
Ran like clockwork. Betty was wonderful. The crew and guide were outstanding. Food was very good, well balanced with a lot of vegetables...The Galapagos is the enchanted isles. My mother-in-law always wanted to travel to the Galapagos. We are certainly glad we helped her realize her dream. Playing with sea lions in the ocean and watching blue footed boobie courting antics in Darwin's backyard...What memories

Elton and Stephanie Bowen (Galapagos Luxury Eric/ Flamingo, Jun 2004)
Superb, trip of a lifetime. Even the hotel in Quito was very nice. The trip itself was amazing, but a potential huge problem was saved by Betty Jaramillo, the trip organizer in Ecuador and the [boat] staff. The airline lost our luggage and I figured we'd do without it the whole week since we were on a ship. Fortunately, one day the ship stopped at an island for refueling and, lo and behold, our luggage arrived. I and my 9-year-old daughter can't thank you enough. This was, in my opinion, the perfect tour for a young child. There were a couple of other kids her age, and the small group ensured that she got appropriate attention.

Welgoss Family (Galapagos Luxury Coral, Jun 2004)
Just thoroughly enjoyable!! We have to thank you too for opening our heart to San Vincente de Paul orphanage in Quito! We read the flier you sent, and immediately emailed an outfitting company (they choose to remain anonymous) here in the US to see if we could get some of their "overstock" to take to the children. We didn't hear from them and thought they just got too many requests from charities. About 3 weeks after our email was sent, 3 HUGE boxes from the company appeared on our porch. (My husband was "ticked" - wondered WHAT I could have "ordered" now!!)

At any rate - opened those boxes (as a family - it was like Christmas!!) and found beautiful new clothes: raincoats, shoes, boots, slippers - probably close to $1000.00 worth of merchandise for us to take to SV de P!! We were thrilled!! There were pants, shirts, dresses, sweaters and sweatshirts - all appropriate for Quito weather. We were allotted 2 suitcases/each on our journey (and since we didn't need that much) were able to pack the above in a couple of suitcases. As a family, we included some beautiful children's books (in English and Spanish), a couple of children's CD's, knick knack toys and of course...200 Tootsie Pops and Bazooka B-gum. (Should have included toothbrushes!) The nuns accepted these all with many thanks and brought us on a tour of their lovely orphanage. By American standards, ... Read All

Rodgers- Hall Family (Galapagos Tourist Aida Maria, Jul 2004)
It was the adventure of a lifetime! I was a little nervous because most of my travels have been to Europe and have been fairly conventional. Now I want to go back to South America! The Aida Maria was lovely and the crew kept it immaculate. The crew was friendly and attentive. They were very protective of us getting on and off boats, wearing life jackets. Diego, Jorge, Miguel, Washington, Mario, and the cooks deserve our thanks and a raise! And our guide, Champion, was fun and goofy but VERY well-educated about the Galapagos and protecting the islands. It made learning fun.

Marvin Jaffe (Galapagos Luxury Charter, Jul 2004)
We just got back from our trip. I just wanted to tell you that it was really great. Betty is a very special person and was most helpful to all of us. She was always where she said she would be and was unfailingly pleasant no matter what happened or what people needed. The crew on the Eric was also extremely gracious and accomodating for all of our special needs. The crew and guides were especially good with the children and everyone felt very safe with them.I would be happy to recommend your company to anyone. Thank you and especailly Mary for all of the arrangements.

Brenda and David Sebern (Galapagos Deluxe Charter + Bellavista + Sacha Lodge, Nov 2004)
Betty is absolutely wonderful! You are very lucky to have her as a Country Coordinator. She was there every step of the way, with thorough explanations, follow up, and a beautiful smile and excellent English skills. Desiree, our Sea Cloud guide, is well-educated, loves her job, and was so patient in speaking Spanish and English the entire tour. The Sea Cloud lost part of the propeller the second to last night, and we limped to our destination. The Sagitta towed us until we reached Baltra. It was comforting to watch both crews work closely and kindly, to make the best of the problem. Sacha Lodge and Bellavista were far above my expectations. Scott and Andrea were gentle, educated, thorough guides. We loved the entire trip.

P.S. We met other travelers who were completely satisfied with your services. One woman was on her second trip with Adventure Life because she was so pleased with her first experience.

James William Richard Allington (Galapagos Luxury Charter, Nov 2004)
Excellent overall. I will contact Adventure Life again.

Dr. Michael Rischbieter (Galapagos Luxury Charter, Nov 2004)
Everything went so smoothly - it allowed me to really enjoy the Galapagos and Quito to the fullest extent. This was truly a fabulous experience. From the moment I touched down in Quito, representatives were there to pick me up and transfer me to the unique and beautiful Mansion del Angel. The staff there was super friendly and the accommodations were first class. The flight to the Galapagos went without a hitch, then I was transferred to the Beluga...what a yacht! I got lucky and got a corner cabin on the second level: 2 large windows with views of the islands, perfect sunsets, sunrises with sea turtles and dolphins! The crew was efficient and courteous. George set the tables with napkins folded differently each night; swans, elephants, roses...he is truly a master! The food was great, promptly served! The trips to the individual islands were handled perfectly, and of course, the wildlife cooperated by being everything I ever imagined it could be. Snorkeling with sea turtles, marine iguanas, sharks, penguins - who could ask for more!!

Patricia and David Freitag (Galapagos Luxury Charter, Nov 2004)
Tough traveling but well worth it! Nature's finest - Galapagos! WOW - Wonderful Opportunity for Wandering! Incredible experience. Our trip was excellent and the guide is to be commended for his in-depth knowledge!! Amazing adventure! Great shipmates and passengers too.

Macy and Chapman Family (Galapagos Luxury Charter + Otavalo Market, Dec 2004)
Excellent people in Ecuador - Betty was truly exceptional. She was upbeat and extremely efficient. The ship's crew was very good. The cabin boy was phenomenal - cleaned our rooms 2x daily. They were always ship-shape. The food, while clean and no one ever was sick - lacked imagination. Lots of vegetables that were very bland and usually cold. It would have been fun to have some local dishes. The tour, overall, was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone. The trip to Otavalo was truly a treat. The restaurants Gustavo choose were very good and we were able to partake of local cuisine. All of the side trips and history and local artisans were wonderful.

Moy Family (Galapagos Tourist Charter, Dec 2004)
My family has traveled a lot, but this trip was the best and very different. A great learning experience.

Gayle Darr and Family (Galapagos Luxury Charter, Dec 2004)
The trip was everything we expected and more! I brought my grandson to learn about this unique place - to understand the need for conservation and to experience respect for the animals and the land. Everyday, our guide kept him engaged in the learning process. My grandson will remember this trip for the rest of his life, I am sure. My family members were put on the Flamingo with two other family groups. It was absoutely perfect. The kids enjoyed each other and we adults enjoyed watching them connect and experience the fantastic daily events. The crew seemed to enjoy the youngsters also, and the kids built a friendship with the crew. We ended our trip feeling we have made new friends with our fellow passengers and I anticipate we will stay in touch after our return.

Aimee and Austin Jaso (Galapagos Tourist, Dec 2004)
Being in the Galapagos was amazing and there are animals to watch everywhere. It is a nature lover's dream come true.

Andrew and Jennifer Martin (Galapagos Tourist, Dec 2004)
Trip of a lifetime! We can't put into words how spectacular our trip to the Galapagos was. The boat, the crew, Daniel our guide, the other passengers, the wildlife, the diving, the landscapes, the food - everything exceeded our expectation.

Carla Sullivan (10 day Tourist Seaman, Jan 2003)
Luis (our guide) in the Galapagos, a local to one of the islands, was very knowledgeable and had endless energy and exuded constant enthusiasm throughout the entire trip island to island. The divemaster, Wilson, was top in the business and I had great respect for him, finding the strong currents of these islands to be challenging at times. We had amazing dives and I went more frequently than I originally signed up for. The hammerhead shark encounters were thrilling and I emphatically state that I would not have wanted to be diving with anyone but Wilson. It should not be underestimated, someone of his knowledge and caliber in those currents! The intense up close shark (of a few species) encounters were amazing and I have seen many sharks in past dives but not like this... what a blast we had, combined with the plentiful sealife on all our dives... Never once was I stressed making a flight or getting to wherever I was staying, tickets, vouchers, etc. all taken care of!... There were other people using different tour companies and didn't have even close to the problem-free trip that I had this made me quite grateful to Adventure Life.I feel like I got the best of the best when it came to everywhere I went and everyone involived in my entire trip.

Mary Ann Gebhart (10 day Luxury Eric, Feb 2003)
Our cabin was possibly the largest cabin on the boat with plenty of storage space for suitcases, clothes, personals, etc. Air conditioning was a welcome relief ...The two guides, Orlando and Harry, were very knowledgeable of the region, plants, animals, and topography. All of the crew were fantastic to offer help when needed. Always with smiles! The food was very good and varied...This will definitely be a trip my son and I will remember. Lots of challenges hiking the paths, encountering wildlife on the paths in front of us- not willing to move- we had to take care not to step on them!

Linda Hoernke (7 day Deluxe Nemo, Feb 2003)
Adventure Life saved my vacation when another tour company fell through at the last minute. They were efficient, kept me up to date on all plans, followed through with everything, and gave us a wonderful trip in the Galapagos- Thank You

Suzanne Hayes (7 day Deluxe Tip Top II, Feb 2003)
You all have done an exceptional job with your company and our Galapagos trip! I can think of nothing even remotely negative to say. You have covered all bases to the max! Not only did my mother and I have a very positive experience, all of our fellow passengers were raving about the response from your company answering their questions and making their arrangements. And please pass on our utmost appreciation to your Ecuador crew for their enthusiasm and attention to detail during our stay there. They were all very, very good and always available to answer questions and make arrangements for last minute side trips. I would be more than happy to provide comments to your future travelers about your company! I can't wait for our next trip!!

Velda Wells (10 day Deluxe Cachalote, Mar 2003)
Our trip to the Galapagos was the most incredible gift we have ever given ourselves. Monica Plaza was our tour guide and she was wonderful. Very patient and understanding and she was like a walking encyclopedia. This trip was amazing and we wanted to stay forever.... I feel confident if I could have stayed 6 months I would still feel the same way. No place on earth are animals so unafraid and accommodating. I felt like I had left planet earth and gone to heaven. Thank you Adventure Life for providing us with this wonderful experience, we will be back!

Bob Bradford (10 day Deluxe Nemo, Mar 2003)
Superb! We lucked out by having one of the truly elite top guides as our leader. Incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his work. Extremely bright and decisive guidance. Entire ship's company was a delight. In friendliness and assistance, they were marvelous Ecuador ambassadors- warm and engaging...I am a professional travel writer of 30 years experience, and I would recommend the Galapagos as a "journey of a lifetime."

Carol Niegisch (10 day Tourist Angelito, Apr 2003)
The most incredible wildlife experience we've ever had- and we've been to most of the 50 states, Canada, and the Caribbean. The guide went above and beyond to make our experiences the best (engaging our kids, picking less frequently visited snorkeling sites, etc.). Betty (Quito coordinator) was fantastic: on time, informative, and creative in helping make last minute arrangements.

Marsha McNeese (10 day Deluxe Cachalote, May 2003)
The local crew could not have been nicer or more accomodationg...I never dreamed it would be so wonderful. I did not want to leave... I'm recommending you to all my friends.

Linda and Harry Fegley (Inca Pathways + Galapagos Tourist Angelito, Apr 2003)
It was 10 on a 10 point scale. We have worked with much bigger companies and were never treated this well by everyone. When we started to make our arrangements, we had a lot of questions and a lot of issues to work around as we were adding two of your trips on top of our humanitarian work trip to Bolivia. The help from the Montana staff was always very prompt, complete, and pleasant. The staff made some suggestions, but we never felt any pressure to take the suggestions. The suggestion of going to the countryside while in Quito was one idea. We took it and the stay in the hacienda was fantastic. We wanted ideas about hotels in La Paz. The Paris Hotel on Easter weekend was a great experience. We even got to see the President of Bolivia twice and went to mass with him. Well, we stood 25" from where he was sitting. All along the way, we were treated like we were someone special...We truly have no suggestions for improvement. If and when we go to SA again, Adventure Life will be our first and only choice.

Lawrence Jacobs and Eileen Biever (Galapagos Luxury Corals, May 2003)
We loved it...We had animals so close that we could touch them (if we wanted to). Fun with sea lions...As far as the Galapagos goes, it is more beautiful and full of life than anything we could imagine. I had seen a 3-D movie about the Galapagos with life everywhere and it really is everywhere. The only sad part of the journey is poor "Lonesome George", the last of his kind. Thanks again for all the support in setting this vacation up.

Elaine Foe and Roger Klingberg (Galapagos Luxury Legend, May 2003)
Boat was so new and jr. suites very big! Snorkeling with penguins, sea lions, turtles was some of best of my life! Food was very good on ship- would highly recommend that boat (and we've been on other cruises). Excellent- we'll use you again if we go to South America.

Gerald and Elizabeth Ramsey (Galapagos + Sacha, Jul 2003)
Local guides were wonderful. Carlos King, our guide in the Galapagos was great. Roberto and Ernesto at Sacha were terrific. Food was wonderful on the Parranda and at Sacha. Three great meals every day with great desserts.

Marjorie Konrad (Galapagos Deluxe Samba, Jul 2003)
This trip was fantastic...I would highly recommend the Samba. Excellent! My favorite trip to date!

Wendy, Simon, and Janet Bateson (Galapagos Luxury Beluga, Jul 2003)
We are VERY sad to be back! That was the most wonderful vacation, and we thank you for planning it so well for us. Betty in Quito was such a sweetheart, and so kind and cheerful (even at 3:45am on our departure day!)... We took Simon's 92 year old mother with us, and she had a wonderful time. The crew on Beluga were so caring, and looked after her so well. They even took her on a private panga ride one morning...We shall happily recommend this trip to friends and family, and certainly look to Adventure Life for future vacations.

Charles Harrison (Galapagos Deluxe Tip Top III, Aug 2003)
Tip Top III was excellent! Hacienda Pinsaqui was also excellent...Great!! We loved our trip!

Lynne Bisgrove (Galapagos Tourist Fragata, Aug 2003)
The Sierra Madre was wonderful. Wonderful food, people, service, rooms!! Clean, hot water! Excellent...All of our guides were great, helpful, spoke english very well...Food was great, crew was fun and friendly...The Galpagos was out of this world beautiful and Adventure Life did an awesome job helping us make this trip the best tour yet.

Jerry Dincin and Susanne Streicker (Galapagos Luxury Corals, Aug 2003)
When Continental Air was 1 1/2 hours late, we lost our original trip connections. You were great in Montana- really helpful and THERE for us. Betty in Quito was over the top great! She really worked hard to get us another boat and rearranged the trip so it worked! She was a great asset to your company. Likewise, Fanny in Guayaquil was helpful with an interesting tour during our 8 hour layover in that city. Your attention to detail and not leaving us hanging out to dry was excellent business and human relations.

John and June Wood (Galapagos Luxury Beluga, Aug 2003)
Every time, the guides were punctual, extremely helpful, very knowledgeable... They were friendly, fun to be with. The ship's (Beluga) crew were great...our naturalist guide, Monica, was the greatest. Extremely expert on all plants and animals, answering all questions- explaining how to get in and out of pangas, what to wear, etc. Overall, it was a very interesting, exciting, and fun trip. We particularly liked the great mix of people onboard.

Robin and Joseph Pettinato (Galapagos Luxury Beluga, Sep 2003)
Couldn't have asked for more...Galapagos was wonderful- teaming with wildlife. Crew was outstanding. Guide- the best. Other passengers enjoyable.

Kara Hobbs (Galapagos Deluxe Archipel, Sep 2003)
Ship crew was fantastic...Archipel is a wonderful boat. Guides were fantastic and very knowledgeable. Galapagos were incredible and I will definitely recommend to others.

Linda Moldauer (Galapagos Touirst Angelito, Oct 2003)
This was the best ever. The yacht was the right size and number of people. Excellent program, well run.

Joanna Romersa (Galapagos Tourist Angelito, Oct 2003)
Guide was fabulous- crew also. Can't say enough good things about Hansel, our guide. Galapagos is a very special place. I've visited more than 50 countries during my career with AA, and I never take tours. I always figure everything out myself. But this was very well organized and I never had the feeling that I was being herded around. 16 people is perfect and we were very lucky to have such a knowledgeable and personable guide.

Elizabeth Snodgrass (Galapagos Touirst Guantanamara, Nov 2003)
The boat was comfy, clean, and well run... Betty Jaramillo was wonderful- prompt, friendly, and helpful... (Food was) very tasty and fresh. Loved having lots of vegetables and fresh fruit. Also loved the hors d'oeuvres they'd serve after the afternoon touring...I had a great Adventure Life experience. Will probably use you again for South America and will recommend you.

Janet Shechter (Galapagos Luxury Corals, Nov 2003)
Very, very good. I enjoyed it immensely and as a single woman, was happy to have a local contact to guide me through the transfers, etc. Everything was terrific!

Jim Higgins (Galapagos Luxury Corals, Nov 2003)
The tour of the Galapagos is like a "field trip" for adults and nature lovers. We got to see examples of all nature's beauty and learned about it in as much detail as one wanted. The trip leaves little downtime other than in the evenings. It is not a party boat, but more a means of getting to the "classroom" in style and comfort...Food was superb- good assortment. Best trip ever!

Barbara Ebner (Galapagos Tourist Lobo de Mar Charter, Dec 2003)
The Lobo del Mar was wonderful and the cook really tried to please us and did a great job feeding the kids and us....Please tell Mary that her recommondation on the boat was very good...The crew and naturalist were great ! We had a GREAT time and just love the Galapagos island. It is a perfect trip to take with kids and we are very happy we were able to experience all this.

Wolfe Family (Galapagos Luxury Tip Top III, Dec 2003)
Thank you for all your patience and help along the way. We had a fantastic time in the Galapagos. The boat was really good and our naturalist, Juan Carlos, was just fantastic. He was able to engage the adults and the children as well. He had an amazing background in everything that was important on our adventure, adding so much to our experience.

Hardenbergh Family (Galapagos Tourist Seaman, Dec 2003)
After seven continents and more than 100 countries of adventures, this was one of our best travel experiences! The Galapagos tour provides an amazingly intimate wildlife viewing experience!

Pamela Fasse and Family (Galapagos Luxury, Dec 2003)
The boat crew was like family when we left- my kids actually miss them! We were treated like well loved relatives. Jose was a creative and accommodating chef- 4 stars. Inspirational!

Parker Family (Galapagos Deluxe Archipel, Dec 2003)
Outstanding. Enjoyed all of it....The trip was fantastic- Galapagos rewards you for every hike and every time in the water...We all agreed this was the best family vacation we've ever taken; a perfect combination of outdoor activity, eye-opening sites, natural learning, and relaxation. The schedule was energetic, we felt like we did a lot every day. We were so glad to be on the Archipel. It was the envy of other boats and small is the way to go.

Cynthia Guerra (Galapagos Deluxe Sea Cloud, Dec 2003)
Really enjoyed all accommodations- La Rabida in Quito, Hotel Galapagos on Santa Cruz, and Sea Cloud (the boat) were all clean, well equipped and with excellent service! Fausto (naturalist guide) was wonderful- very knowledgeable and very enthusiastic. The ship's crew were delightful...they were accommodating, professional, and friendly. The food was awesome! Augustine was an incredible cook, even when cooking under difficult conditions. Trip Overall: Amazing- this truly was the trip of a lifetime. I cried when it was time to come home.

Larry Lawson and Jane Swaffield (Galapagos 15 day tourist -combined 2 cruises, Feb 2002)
One of the best vacations we have had. Cooks were out of this world! All crew were helpful and always smiling. When can we go back?!?

Holly Silver (Galapagos 10 day Deluxe, Feb 2002)
The Galapagos experience was like being in a real Disneyland everyday. It was so special and wonderful that in many ways, it's undescribable. For me, the best parts were snorkeling daily (often twice a day) with sea lions, turtles, sharks, rays and being on a boat with people from all over the world. My boat guide/ naturalist on the Angelito was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, patient, and truly wanted the trip to be everything it could be. La Cartuja was a lovely bed and breakfast. It was in a very good location. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

Todd Maki and Jane Malone (Galapagos 10 day Tourist, Mar 2002)
Our local Ecuador support, Betty, was fabulous! Felt like she really cared about us. Took excellent care of transferring us to/from airport. Excellent suggestions for our free time in Quito. It was truly a pleasure to be "taken care of" by Adventure Life. From the moment Betty picked us up at the hotel at 5:30am on March 11th, until she dropped us off at the hotel on March 18th, we didn't have any trip responsibilities besides enjoying ourselves. All the work was done by your excellent staff and the local Galapagos crew. We had the time of our lives on the trip of a lifetime. Thanks.

Cynthia Cook-Pruitt and Paul Pruitt (Galapagos 10 day Luxury, Mar 2002)
The Legend is a great boat for the Galapagos. It looks huge, but because the access to the park is restricted, it was usually the only boat at the major points. With five groups of 10-12, it was easy to see, research, and discover the islands... One of the best family vacations I could imagine. Thanks so much for making our vacation a fantastic moment in our lives- all three generations were mesmorized by the Galapagos!

Gary Nichols and Mary Reynolds (Galapagos 10 day Tourist Seaman, Apr 2002)
We loved the Sierra Madre in Quito and we loved the Seaman boat and crew. Betty in Quito was absolutely fantastic. She called each evening in Quito to check on us and see if there was anything se could do for us and was sincerely interested in assuring that we enjoyed our visit...We are both nature lovers and photographers so this trip was a natural fit. We did a lot of research (books and web) while planning this trip to the Galapagos. Based on price, we narrowed it down to a handful of agencies. Then, based on friendly staff, we decided upon Adventure Life. We were a little concerned that a company with a post office box in Missoula, Montana might be a rip-off. Obviously, we couldn't have been more wrong. Thanks for everything Adventure Life!

Priscilla Mackie (Galapagos 10 day Deluxe Mondriaan, May 2002)
The enthusiasm of the trip leader in Quito was almost overwhelming. She was a welcome surprise after a long journey. The food on the Mondriaan was superb. I have fantasies about it. Excellent tour overall. Relaxing. Joyful. Refreshing. A paradise!

David and Diana Strah (Galapagos 10 day Luxury Corals, May 2002)
We had a wonderful time. The weather was excellent, wildlife plentiful, guides and transfer personnel professional and helful. A trip of a lifetime- We weren't disappointed. Wish we could have spent more time- maybe we'll go again in a few years.

Susan Work (Galapagos 10 day Tourist Seaman, Jun 2002)
The snorkeling was the best part- swimming with the sea lions was such fun. Because this was a smaller boat, it was easy to make friends- I met people from England, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Italy, and Canada. The variety of activities- walking, snorkeling, and diving- was well planned. It kept us active but not exhausted- At night we would go to the top deck and watch the stars. The sky is so clear (and so is the water) you could see all the stars. If I had the money, I would go again- now!!

Colm Pelow (Galapagos 7 day Deluxe Cachalote, Sep 2002)
Well this was the most wonderful trip of my life. I had never in my wildest dreams thought that I would go swimming with giant turtles and sharks. The guide Mauricio Garcia and the crew of the Cachalote were superb in every way. I cannot speak too highly of them all. The ship itself is just the right size with excellent food and great service. The seas were just wonderful to rock one to sleep. I am back in this world, but some day I will return to the islands. Betty was also a wonderful help in getting me to the right place to meet the ship and also to meet me when I returned to Quito. All in all, a great time.

Christine Cooper (Fragata 10 day tourist, Oct 2002)
We had the most brilliant holiday via Adventure Life and everything went according to plan...Fragata: Great. We had an upper cabin- very well equipped. I will never lose the memory of sitting on the upper deck watching the sea- enchanting. Staff: excellent- how the cook managed to make such wonderful food from such a small kitchen!! We never had the same meals twice and I am afraid I ate everything in sight. We also returned to mouth-watering snacks after afternoon trips. The waiter was so helpful and if anyone at the table could not eat the food prepared he got the kitchen to make an alternative. The lads were always there to help and were such fun- we had a great leaving night with music and dancing. Will always remember the football game on Floreana with the staff and the young holiday makers (my 62 yr old husband joined in all the activities, thinking he is as young as the rest). The guide: most informative and we learned a great deal- all in English... Your attitude since the beginning was most helpful and pleasant and the entire holiday was beyond our wildest dreams.

Karen Povey (10 day Eden Galapagos tour, Nov 2002)
Great crew on the Eden. We loved this boat- great itinerary, great food. We highly recommend it- very clean and comfortable....As zoologists, the Galapagos has long been a dream destination for us and we weren't disappointed! We were enchanted by the animals, people and scenery. We definitely plan to return to experience it again! Highlights: swimming with sea lions, sea turtles, sharks, and penguins; seeing wild tortoises; coming eye to eye with nesting boobies; encountering albatrosses; and much more! Thanks!

Scott Ames (7 day Aida Maria Tourist Tour, Dec 2002)
Food on the Aida Maria was excellent. The cook provided an excellent variety of food and quantity was ample...The naturalist on the boat was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I liked the Aida Maria, its crew, and the other guests.

Gabriella Cyranski (10 day Luxury Legend Galapagos tour, Dec 2002)
We just returned from our 10 day Galapagos trip and I wanted to complement you and your staff on a wonderful vacation! We had a detour at the beginning of the trip that could have been a total disaster but your staff in Ecuador saved the day... (Your Ecuador coordinator) was unbelievable!!!!! Hang on to her. I can’t even remember a time when we had better customer service. Additionally, the trip itself was absolutely amazing. The ship was beautiful and everything that we had been promised. All the guides and the crew were knowledgeable and professional. Mary and Colin from the Montana staff were also great as I drove them crazy with my 20 questions but they answered everything and always followed up. I was recommending Adventure Life to others on our cruise; some of them had horrible service from their tour companies. I will continue to recommend you to anyone that wants to go to South or Central America and we will definitely use you in the future.

Dara Herman (10 day Tourist Eden, Dec 2002)
Our trip leader was very friendly and enthusiastic... Great food. Very impressive. The chef worked wonders in that tiny ship kitchen.

Diane McQuillan (Galapagos-10 Day, Jan 2001)
During my first minute of snorkeling, I saw a shark, a blue footed boobie diving for fish and a sea lion swim past me. I'll never forget it!

Andrew Geller (Galapagos 10-Day First Class, Jan 2001)
What a marvelous trip on which to have taken my boys (ages 9 and 11).  The Galapagos is truly an amazing place! The transfer and guide in Ecuador was very appreciated,  thank you for everything.

Terrie Zuiderhoek (Galapagos 10 day, May 2001)
The best part is snorkeling with the sea lions. The baby sea lions just want to play. They swin right up to you, then leap up and down, over and under. It's incredible! I had to remember to breathe!

Peter and Anne Bower (May Galapagos 7 day, May 2001)
The trip was fantastic!! The Guantanamara is an excellent boat, relatively new, spotlessly clean, delightful captain and crew, and very good food. Would recommend it to anyone. Also, our guide, Williams Caceres was very good- knowledgeable, sense of humor, and very helpful to those who needed it. The islands themselves are, of course, incredible, and we had perfect weather, and very swimmable (even for Floridians) water temperatures. We're very happy customers!

Judy Odom (Galapagos 10 day, Jun 2001)
I returned from this vacation in great spirits. I really enjoyed the very international mix of people in our tour. We got along superbly! Very creative meals, tasted great! The bartender, Pedro, was a big hit with everyone. All of the crew were really nice.

Kara Lindner/ Jim Carpenter (Galapagos 10 day, Jul 2001)
We were very impressed! The people on the Fragata were wonderful! Our guide, Ivan, was very good, as were all the crew members. We had a great trip!

Deborah Daly (Galapagos 10 day, Aug 2001)
The naturalist on the boat was fantastic- extremely knowledgeable, good English, great personality! La Cartuga hotel was fantastic- charming, good location, great staff!

Jan Schoenberger (Galapagos 7 day, Aug 2001)
Charlie and Whitman (our guides) were fantastic. The ship's crew and cooks were all very friendly and helpful. The tour was absolutely fantastic! Everything went off without a hitch and we had a great time.

John and Andy Siffert (Galapagos 7 day, Nov 2001)
The Seaman was an outstanding, excellent, smaller boat. The naturalist was knowledgable, food good, and combination of nationalities on board outstanding. Our boat had Swiss, Spanish, American, and Japanese travelers. Can you imagine dinner conversations in four languages? The Seaman crew made the Galapagos experience. Seeing the animals up close was breathtaking and the last night in a quiet bay in the middle of the Pacific, we danced the Salsa and drank pina coladas. What fun!

Cathy Stein and Ann Hartstein (Galapagos 7 day Tourist, Dec 2001)
The tour was excellent. Our guide was very informative and had a very nice style of presentation. I was impressed with the overall "conservation" attitude of everyone in terms of responsibility for protecting the islands from misuse. We had a wonderful time! After we sort through our 17 rolls of film, we will recommend the trip to others by showing them the most wonderous sights we saw. As two women traveling together, we felt very comfortable on the trip. The international nature of the guests on our boat was very refreshing... It was a great trip that we'll remember always!

Edwin, Hedy, Molly, and Rosalie Campbell (Galapagos Cruise: Corals, Jan 0)
Adventure Life was very helpful, especially in response to my deluge of last minute questions. This was our second Galapagos trip and we weren't sure how it would stack up against our first adventure twenty years ago. It was great. The kids loved it. We loved it. We had encounters with virtually every species on the islands. We had a good balance of land/water activities, too.

Jonathan and Fay Salt (Galapagos, Jan 0)
Adventure Life was very responsive to our questions and communicated clearly. Our local guide was excellent with keeping us on schedule, but provided us space to enjoy the day.

Pegden Family (Galapagos Category I Cruise - Sulidae, Jan 0)
The tour was better than we expected. We loved the boat crew and the food was beyond our expectations!
