Hotel Orly -- great location and excellent room Hotel in Santa Cruz -- wonderful breakfast buffet Thomas Somerscales B&B -- good service, good location in Valparisio Hotel Argentino -- good city location but noisy toilets (in all rooms due to low water pressure).

Augustin Landeta did a terrific job leading the tour. His knowledge of wine and the wine industry in Argentina and Chile and his positive relationships with the staff at the wineries made the trip an absolute success. We also appreciated Augustin's knowledge of local history and geography -- and his sense of humor.

Both drivers were very professional. The staff at all of the wineries and restaurants were very professional and polite.

The food, wines and service were outstanding at Viu Manent, the restaurant on the beach at Zapallar (on Christmas day), Cava de Cano in Mendoza, and Bodega Altus. Cava de Cano served a very unique degustation meal of over 50 dishes and wonderful Syrah wine. The view was great at French restaurant in Los Andes. As for the wine tastings and tours, they were fantastic. The variety of wineries that we visited gave a full range of the industry in Chile and Argentina. It was very interesting, delicious and educational.

We had a great time and are glad we went.
