The standard hotels were fine. The upgrade we did for the Machu Picchu hotel was amazing, well worth it, quite possibly the nicest hotel experience I've ever had.

It was a great trip. The local staff was fantastic, always on top of our travel difficulties and ready to help us out. So much to see in Peru, we'll certainly be going back to see more of the country in the future.
