This morning is yours to relax and spend as you would like. Stroll the beaches of Cape Town, go shopping, or explore one of many local attractions in the area. Make your way to the Clock Tower for your 1 PM departure to Robben Island. (You should arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your departure time). Upon arrival to the island meet your guide, someone who spent time here during the Apartheid years. Learn about the political climate of the time, witness the harsh conditions prisoners endured, and visit Nelson Mandela's cell. Take the ferry back to the V&A waterfront and enjoy dinner on your own before you make your way back to your hotel.
Today you visit the beaches Clifton and Campus Bay. Drive to the Cape of Good Hope National Reserve via Chapman's Peak where you will take a cable car to view where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet, as well as fantastic views of False Bay. Continue to Simonstown Naval Base, and visit Boulders Beach, the African Penguin breeding colony. Enjoy a once-in-a-life-time seafood lunch at the famed Boat House, celebrity chef Bruce Robertson's personal home. A quick stop at the Kirstenbosch Gardens rounds out the tour before you return to the hotel in late afternoon. Explore the local area independently for dinner.
This morning you transfer back to the Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Kruger National Park. Kruger is home to cheetahs, leopards, lions, hyenas, zebra, and wild dogs, as well as kudu, eland, sable antelope, and impala. Other possible wildlife sightings on this amazing safari experience include white rhino, elephant, hippo, giraffe, and buffalo!
