What's your Adventure?

Day 1 Arrive Puerto Varas lodge

Arrive to Puerto Montt and transfer to Puerto Varas. Enjoy this quaint town this afternoon on your own. In the evening, the group will assemble for a safety briefing with the guides.

Day 2 Llancahue (B,L,D)

Rising early depart by van along the Carretera Austral and cross the southern end of the Reloncavi Fjord by Ferry. At the village of Hornopiren we launch our kayaks and paddle along the Isla de los Ciervos, keeping our eyes peeled for resident sea lions. After 4-5 hours of paddling, we reach Llancahue Island and its hot springs. After a relaxing soak and local dinner we return to our B&B for the evening.

Day 3 Quintupeo Fjord (B,L,D) camp

After an early breakfast we head towards the mainland paddling towards the narrow entrance of Quintupeo Fjord. This day we will travel for 4 spectacular hours in the heart of Pumalin Park. The fjord has huge granite walls; we can see waterfalls that jump from the Andes to the sea.  Camp is set up at the end of the fjord and dinner is prepared for a relaxing evening.

Day 4 Cahuelmo Fjord (B,L,D) camp

Today paddle out of the Quintupeo Fjord into the cove of Cahuelmo. Paddle 6 hours to Cahuelmo Fjord, a wonderful place with big mountains that rise from the sea and then go inland among narrow valleys.  We will see a colony of sea lions, and once we have reached the end of the fjord, we pitch our tents for the evening and enjoy a nice soak in the Cahuelmo hot springs.

Day 5 Cahuelmo Hiking (B,L,D)

Today use your other muscles and enjoy a day of hiking on the trails of Pumalin Park. Return to camp this evening and board a local fishing boat that takes us back to our B&B this evening in Hornopiren.

Day 6 Hornopiren - Puerto Varas (B,L)

On our last day we transfer from Hornopiren back to Puerto Varas. We stop en route for lunch at Riverside Lodge before we say adios!
