Arrive in Punta Arenas and transfer to the bus station for the trip to Puerto Natales. Arrive this afternoon, transfer to the hotel, and relax this evening.
Day 2: Serrano River. Zodiac into Torres del Paine National Park
Bright and early this morning embark on a large catamaran sailing through the ice river of Ultima Esperanza Fjord where waterfalls pour from steep cliffs. Soon the shear walls of Balmaceda Glacier loom above us, accompanied by the booming sound of giant ice blocks falling from the glacier. After lunch, the catamaran begins its return to Puerto Natales, but we board zodiacs to continue upriver to Serrano Falls. Here we walk around the falls and board another zodiac for the rest of our trip into Torres del Paine. With luck, we’ll have a chance to see seals, sea lions, porpoises, black-necked swans, and other Patagonian wildlife. Upon reaching the park headquarters take a private transfer to the EcoCamp. After settling into the EcoCamp, you’ll have time to take in the breathtaking sight of Torres del Paine, take a short hike, or just relax after your adventure!

Passengers can add $125 per person for private transfer from Punta Arenas to Puerto Natales instead of the bus.
Initial deposit is 20% ($400 minimum), and most travelers will call our office and pay the deposit with a credit card.
Final payment is due 70 days (10 weeks) prior to departure by bank transfer, check or credit card. All final payments by credit card may be subject to a surcharge and maximum of $20,000 charge
The trip might have been the absolute best of our lifetime (thus far). We particularly want to commend our guide Peter in the Guilin area-he was so incredibly attentive, energetic, enthusiastic-and absolutely dedicated to ensuring that our meals were 100% vegetarian.

Our travel was flawless! The rider pickup (airport, hotel, ship) was seamless. Jane's recommendation for Emerald Cruise Sakara was everything I wanted but the experience was soooo much more. Adventure Life took care of each and every detail and this was the easiest of all my travels.

I spoke with at least a half dozen other travel companies, looking for a Galapagos cruise that fit our schedule and budget. Some companies could manage one or the other, but Erin was the only one who could do both. She found us the perfect cruise, at a fantastic price! Adventure Life took care of everything! All we had to do was show up when we were supposed to, which made our first trip to Costa Rica largely stress-free and incredibly fun. Our trip reps, Hannah and Mariethony, were helpful and responsive, getting back to us by email usually within a few hours. Our accommodations were all great, and we got incredibly blessed with some absolutely stellar guides and drivers.
Our Jungle & Beach trip was an excellent balance of adventure and rest. We got to try out a lot of different activities, including snorkeling, hiking, white water rafting and kayaking, while also partaking of some rest around the pool or by the ocean. We enjoyed seeing and exploring the beautiful Caribbean side of the country.
