Adventure Life staff members, Renee, Julia and Beth, have set their sites on one of the most secluded destinations in the world, Antarctica. Inspired by its remote and rugged landscape, there is no better destination for these three women -- who, between the three of them, have run marathons, tackled the Inca Trail, sea kayaked through the Galapagos, trekked the Fitz Roy Range and make regular appearances in the RATPOD -- to explore. Renee, Julia and Beth hope their trip will inspire fellow adventurous women to explore outside the box and discover just how far your wanderlust can take you.
It is easy to be inspired by such a place. Antarctica holds the title of coolest, driest and windiest destination on earth. This enormous frozen land has conquered the most experienced explorers, yet nurtures some of the most fragile wildlife. Images of the continent seem alien – yet this otherworldly region exists on our planet.
Adventure Lifers, Renee, Julia and Beth will be on board the M/V Orlova on the Nov. 20, 2009 departure. Join them!
