We recommend checking all travelers' passports as soon as possible. Make sure passports are current; think of what a nightmare it would be to show up at the airport only to find they have expired. It should be valid for at least six months after your departure date.

Entry requirements change with surprising frequency. It is each traveler's responsibility to check for the most up-to-date visa and passport information, and please check the embassy or consulate nearest you. We suggest contacting Swift Passport Services to obtain new passports, renew existing passports, or to apply for any visas that are required for your particular trip.

Keep a photocopy of the important pages of your passport in a separate location from your passport. This facilitates getting a replacement if your passport is lost or stolen. It's also more convenient to show the photocopy when asked for identification at stores or currency exchanges, and you can store your passport safely in your room. Leave one copy at home with a friend or family member.

If a tourist card is given to you to be completed either aboard your flight prior to arrival to your destination or in the customs area, please keep any copy returned by the customs officials with you until you depart the country.
