One of the many reasons we at Adventure Life have the amazing benefit of traveling around the world is for the chance to visit our partners on the ground who help make all of our travelers so happy throughout their trip. For most of the office staff, we spend all day speaking with these partners and never have any idea what they are truly like, even becoming close friends Skyping and emailing through our day to day. Being able to put a face to the name helps us feel that much closer and build a stronger relationship for the future.
Our partners, Lima Tours, hosted Rachel and I throughout our trip. Not only did they help put together a fantastic itinerary that gave us highlight after highlight, we were even joined by two of their team members for half of it.
On our final day in Lima, we spent the morning touring Lima Tours’ headquarters in the downtown district of Lima and met their entire team. Finally connecting faces to names called for hugs and kisses all around along with a few pictures. Here we thought everyone was excited to meet us, but they may have been more excited for what turned out to be their 62nd anniversary party that we crashed in the afternoon! Local drinks, music, dancing and chitchat with these amazing new friends was the best way to end our time in Peru and one I will certainly remember forever. I may not have left truly learning how to salsa, but I know I left with some great friendships established.
