I was already in Quito for a travel show, so this was a fairly laid back day. We picked up my husband from the airport late at night and then rested up for the next day!

(Galapagos Cruise: Athala, Oct 2006)I loved the Mansion de Angel in Quito. It was a beautiful hotel and the service was above and beyond expectations. The Athala in the Galapagos was better than expected. The rooms were enormous and the service was superior. The food on the ship was excellent. The chef accommodated everyone's needs and tastes. The quality of the food was fabulous. This was the best trip I have ever taken. I am having a difficult time finding something as interesting and exciting.
