(Atacama Desert and Lakes District, Mar 2007)This was one of the best vacations I have ever had. You guys did a great job suggesting itineraries and the one I picked was exactly what I was looking for. Everyone we dealt with was extremely polite, considerate, and friendly.
Prior to booking this trip, I was looking to find an active vacation that allowed me to feel part of a small group. I hate feeling like a tourist and the atmosphere that presents itself on large cruise ships or group tours. Adventure Life provided me with the exact environment and access to local activities that I was looking for. I enjoyed the small group atmosphere and especially loved the Lakes District.
Ken and I had an exceptional time with our guide Rodrigo. He was charismatic and spoke excellent English. We hiked with him to Volcan Osorno and it will be a day that I will forever remember with fondness.
Our canyon excursion with Philippe and Andres was absolutely exhilarating and one of the most adventurous excursions of our lives. I speak French, Chinese, and Greek, but not Spanish. This trip allowed me the opportunity to feel comfortable in a country where my Spanish is far from fluent. I took this trip as a present to myself for my 40th birthday and it was the best present ever!!
