It's hard to believe that we are in the capital of Ecuador. Frankly, before looking into a trip to the Galapagos I never really thought about spending much time in Quito.

(Galapagos Cruise: Eric, Letty, Flamingo, Jul 2007)The trip was excellent. I chose it because there would be other kids. My grandson had never been away from his parents before, but there was never a twinge of home-sickness. Almost every night Ryan would exclaim, "This is the best trip ever Grandma! Thank you, thank you, thank you!" He especially liked snorkeling with the sea lions. We also enjoyed our guides: Guillermo in Quito and Otavalo was great, and Karina on the Eric was also first rate. I would recommend this trip for anyone traveling with children. My grandson wished we could stay another week! In about two years when I'll take Ryan's younger brother, Chris on a trip, I'll check you out again!
