(Sacha Lodge, Aug 2009)Sacha Lodge is a 5 star hotel in the jungle! The food was beyond my expectations! Eugenia Hotel in Quito was basic, but clean, comfortable, good showers, and a breakfast buffet to start the day.
Everything went perfectly and was very well organized. Luis, our guide in Quito, was superb and really knew his stuff. And our guides Lars B. and Segundo at Sacha Lodge were exceptional. Both of them have considerable knowledge of the forest and kept us interested during every excursion. I knew the food would be good, but I had no idea how good it would turn out to be! The huts, the food, the excursions, the guides, the staff, the service... Everything was truly top notch!
