(Discover Costa Rica, Feb 2005)Excellent! The best vacation we've ever had. We are planning to return to see other places in Costa Rica. It was so relaxing and fun! Every guide was not only super friendly, but also very knowledgeable and went way out of their way to make sure every detail was taken care of. The food at Guayabo Lodge was outstanding. La Cusinga served the best fruit of all kinds and salads with avocados and tomatoes. Le Bergerac was totally different, but superb! Very very excellent food. From the moment we got off our plane in San Jose, every single thing went so smooth! Every detail was taken care of and all we had to do was relax and have fun! We stayed an extra night at La Cusinga, which I would highly recommend. The bird watching and beaches were a perfect ending for our trip!
Everyone we met was envious of how smooth things were going for us. Most people never heard of the Turrialba area. It was a highlight for us biking through CATIE on a private tour and walking through town with our friendly, knowledgeable guide, Jorge. We will be going back for sure and wouldn't think of booking our trip with anyone but Adventure Life! Muchos Gracias!
