Experience a South Luangwa safari with a stay at the elegant and intimate Chamilandu Bushcamp. Located along the Luangwa River inside the park borders, this small Zambian safari camp offers fantastic access to wildlife viewing. Set beneath the ebony tree groves and overlooking an active watering site, the camp's three stilted chalets offer amazing wildlife viewing right from the camp's location.
Game drives and walking safaris with professional guide are also offered. Seven oxbow lakes aurround Chamilandu's location and offer prime wildlife viewing opportunities. Visit the camp's own Hide overlooking one of these for a unique and up-close experience of the wildlife in South Luangwa Park.
Three stilted chalets keep the camp numbers small. Each tent offers a raised verandah and open-fronted en-suite bathroom facility to maximize wildlife viewing. Mosquito netting covers one side of the treehouse which opens to the lagoon for the best wildlife viewing as you fall asleep. An outdoor bathroom with showers open to the sky's stars at night will have guests wanting to shower every night.

This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.
