Each of the Signature tents offer open-air en-suite bathrooms and sliding teak doors that open onto a private deck for Zambezi River views. The honeymoon suites offer indoor and outdoor bathrooms, private dining area, king bed, and overlooks a private pool. The Kigelia family tent offers two separate adjoined tents separated by an open plan living room, with private deck and plunge pool. Enjoy a variety of safari activities in an area that rivals the best safari destinations in all Africa. Game viewing takes place on the ground on game drives, by foot with walking safaris, and on the water with boating and canoeing. Spot some of the over 500 species of birds along the river's edges or try your hand at some of the best sportfishing offered in the world. Fishing is successful year-round with opportunities to catch a variety of species, but the best time to try to catch the famed tigerfish is in the warmer months of September to December.
The trip might have been the absolute best of our lifetime (thus far). We particularly want to commend our guide Peter in the Guilin area-he was so incredibly attentive, energetic, enthusiastic-and absolutely dedicated to ensuring that our meals were 100% vegetarian.
