Day 1: Praia, Santiago | Embark

Arrive at Praia, Santiago and embark on Sea Cloud II. 

Explore the capital city of Cape Verde on the southern coast of Santiago Island. The old town center, called the “Plateau” by locals, is on a raised area overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Around the bay, beaches include Quebra Canela and Praínha, both near the Praínha neighborhood. Shops and restaurants cluster in the Achada de Santo António quarter.

Philipsburg is the capital of Sint Maarten, the Dutch side of the Caribbean island Saint Martin. Beachfront bars line the boardwalk along Great Bay. Voorstraat, or Front Street, has duty-free shops and casinos. The St. Maarten Zoo is home to parrots, monkeys, and a playground. Sint Maarten Museum displays artifacts from the indigenous Arawak people. The ruins of 17th-century Fort Amsterdam stand on a nearby peninsula.

Day 17: Gustavia, St. Bartherlemy | Disembark
