Day 5-10: Northeast Greenland National Park

  • Ship
  • 6 Breakfasts, 6 Lunches, 6 Dinners
The splendid isolation of your journey takes hold as we arrive at the world's largest national park. Few traces of humans exist here - a mere 30 souls live within the park over winter and only 500 expedition guests visit each year.

Once inside Northeast Greenland National Park's fjords, your sense of distance, size, and shape is challenged. These are the largest fjords in the world. The unforgettable alpine landscape features hanging glaciers and vertical granite faces that reach as far as the eye can see. The park's abundant wildlife includes musk oxen, arctic fox and hare, wolf, numerous varieties of seabirds, and polar bears!

Most of your landings are performed as pure wilderness expeditions. Go ashore at Mosquito Bay (Myggbukta), where the expert guides and lecturers safely lead you on hikes and small boat trips.

This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.
