Day 6 Pond Inlet

Explorer Sir John Ross named Pond Inlet in 1818 after John Pond, a renowned British astronomer. Today this picturesque hamlet is a traditional Inuit community near the eastern entrance to the Northwest Passage.

Day 8 Beechey Island

Day 9 Bellot Strait

Day 12 Gjoa Haven
