This is an expedition for true explorers. ––– History is full of attempts to sail this legendary route from the Atlantic to the Pacific, cutting through the icy Canadian Arctic, past colorful Inuit villages. Join us as we sail far above the Arctic Circle, into the heart of the Northwest Passage and out again – an epic journey in the wake of Amundsen and other great explorers. The explorer Sir John Ross named Pond Inlet in 1818 after John Pond, a renowned British astronomer. Today this picturesque hamlet is a traditional Inuit community near the eastern entrance to the Northwest Passage.

Beyond expectations! Then again we weren't sure what to expect. Lovely stay at the lodge, met other like-minded travelers (many had their trips planned by Adventure Life) and the owner was a gracious hostess. It felt like you were one happy family, visiting with a favorite aunt.
