This classic ice-strengthened ship was built in 1984 specifically for research in the polar region. As the sister to the Spirit of Enderby, it is an ideal vessel for Antarctic expeditions. Recently refurbished with capacity for just 48 passengers, it provides comfortable accommodations in an intimate atmosphere.

All cabins have either private or shared facilities, ample storage space and portholes or windows that face outside.

The ship has a lounge area that includes a bar and library and a small lecture hall. In the dining area, you can enjoy meals prepared by some of the best chefs from Australia & New Zealand.

Beyond expectations! Then again we weren't sure what to expect. Lovely stay at the lodge, met other like-minded travelers (many had their trips planned by Adventure Life) and the owner was a gracious hostess. It felt like you were one happy family, visiting with a favorite aunt.
