Max Passengers: 65
Ship Type: Expedition Cruise Ship

The 65-passenger Coral Discoverer (formerly the Oceanic Discoverer) was introduced to the world of sailing vessels in 2005. Her sleek, small size makes her ideal for regional exploration and navigating through channels and fjords.

Guests on board the Coral Discoverer enjoy access to four decks. The Main Deck offers offers the dining room, the Promenade Deck features the guest staterooms, the Bridge Deck features guest staterooms with private balconies, a lounge and bridge, and the Sun Deck features a outdoor bar and observation area.

The bridge is available to visit throughout most times of the day, depending on weather, security, and navigation conditions. There is not an elevator on board.

Each of the staterooms aboard the Coral Discoverer feature ocean views in a variety of window sizes, two twin beds or a double bed, a sitting area, well-appointed en suite bathroom, large closets, and individually-controlled air conditioning.

The dining room is large enough to accommodate all guests in one seating, and features large outside windows so guests may enjoy the passing views as they dine. Most dietary restrictions can be catered for on board, but special requests must be made in advance. Coffee and tea are available 24 hours a day. The dining room features the finest fresh seafood of the region and a comprehensive selection of Australian and New Zealand wines. Additional amenities include two fully-stocked cocktail bars, wireless Internet, and laundry service. Rates are posted on board. The Australian dollar is used on board, and Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Diners Club are accepted for payment of shipboard accounts.

The Coral Discoverer carries Zodiacs, a glassbottom boat, and a powerful aluminum excursion boat.
