Ecuador for two
Adventure-Life arranged an awesome tour for two of us old folk to the Galapagos, island-hopping; to the Oriente (Amazon); to Quito; to the Bosque Nublado (cloud forest). I am in awe that any company could do this complex travel at all, let alone arrange a trip with every day memorable.

smooth flights. Our host hotel was easy to get to from the airport, so we flagged a yellow cab. The fare was $8 instead of the $50 it would have been to hire an escort.
